@AdamKoffler I honestly just think it's because they don't need him tomorrow. They were favored by 13.5 and won by 35pts on the road without him yesterday vs Dallas...the same team Cavs play tomorrow.
@Clevta Cautiously optimistic due to the fact that 3 of the 5 teams they've played with Harden are SAC, WASH & BKN. Three horrible teams actively trying to lose. Want to see some matchups against winning teams.
NBA players are injured more than ever due to the levels of wear & tear they need to go through just to play 1 game, let alone 82. It's never been this intense. There are more possessions, way less standing around on defense. You can't rest on the court in ways players from past eras could when the game was much simpler & slowed down.
Dumbasses (oldheads) see this as being soft or "load managing" when it's literally the opposite.
@realcavsfans According to Keith, if Harden opts in to his player option, it does not become fully guaranteed. Only $13M of the $42M becomes guaranteed. Which is good for the Cavs, because if Harden opts in and we don't want to retain him, we have an avenue to waive & stretch that $13M.
Feels like our time was completely wasted watching whatever version of football this was.
I prefer the sport when the athletic freaks of nature can actually run more than a few feet without wiping out.
As non-entertaining a big sporting event as I can remember
But the Browns wanted to win their last two games and get the 6th pick, instead of losing them and getting the 1st pick, and taking a franchise QB in Mendoza.
Even when the Browns win, they lose 🤣
12.0 QBR (per @espn) for Shedeur Sanders in the win today.
That brings his final QBR average for his rookie season to 18.8
That is the worst single-season QBR average in #Browns history (min. 6 starts)
.@ChrisFedor is calling the #NBA's $100K fine to the #Cavs for resting players absurd.
“The league really needs to rethink this policy.”
Cleveland is trying to survive the 82-game grind — shouldn’t player health come first? Or is the NBA more concerned with ratings than safety?
Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Darius Garland will make his season debut as soon as Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Garland, who underwent offseason surgery to repair a big toe, will be upgraded on Cavs' injury report as he is set to return.
MLB always screws Cleveland with these 1pm starts. Just overlap the games. Put the Guards on ESPN2 like the NBA does with playoff games on NBATV, who cares. A stagger like 3pm/6pm/7pm/9pm would suffice. Absolutely no playoff game in any sport should be played on a weekday at 1pm.
