Karpathy's 3.5-hour LLM deep dive, compressed to 60 seconds. Lossy, like the model.
Biggest builder lesson: weights are vague memory, context is working memory. If it has to be right, put it in the prompt.
What surprised you most?
@beamnxw 16-step playbooks are great until step 7 invents a new brand color. reusable components + a freeze on the style bible is what actually makes the studio shippable.
@dani_avila7 extension is fine until you need a real terminal and a long agent loop. I still bounce back to CLI for anything that needs a kill switch ๐
@aimikoda sref locking the still is the easy half. Seedance keeping that ink look through motion without melting the silhouette is the real unpaid craft.
@TechieBySA Physical comedy is the hard part for AI video. Faces hold; the slapstick timing and prop contact still wobble. Bean winning that fight is the real flex ๐ป
@alsamahi Claude for long diffs when I'm picky about silence; Codex when I want speed and I already know the blast radius. Still put a human on the merge either way ๐
tl;dr
โข price on screen is per unit
โข cost = premium ร 65
โข OTM premium is pure time value
โข cheap-looking isn't cheap
what's one options word you nodded along to for way too long? ๐ (7/7)
you see โน100 next to a nifty option and think it costs โน100.
it doesn't. it costs โน6,500.
what a "lot" and a "premium" actually mean, in 6 tweets ๐งต (1/7)
same contract, two very different jobs:
buyer pays the premium. worst case, it goes to zero.
seller collects the premium and posts margin that's far bigger. worst case can be a lot more than what they collected. (6/7)
@AIwithYazdan Yeah, the badge trick works until the car turns and the light hits it from a different angle. Reference image locks frame 1. Continuity across cuts is still the edit.
@prsablue calling timeframes camera angles is the most filmmaker-brained trading explainer I've read. most people just keep zooming in till the chart agrees with them ๐
@jurlycat make it write the tokens file first and diff that before it touches a single component. otherwise "preserve business logic" quietly turns into renamed props and a 40-file PR.
