Why bother holding a Royal Commission when recommendations for referrals to AFP, NACC, Law Society and Heads of Agencies are completely ignored.

Also add AUKUS and I fully agree with your sentiments. Mr Albanese has been a real disappointment and I used to think highly of him, even met him at a ALP function. Us long term Labor supporters have been deeply let down by the NACC, AUKUS and support for Israel.

It’s far worse because the NACC was set up by politicians under a Labor Government and it was never designed to work. All politicians have failed Australians. The NACC is just a useless group of highly paid public servants protecting their bosses.

@mgann246043 @ScoMo30 True but he certainly didn’t do anything to ensure it was to be an effective body when its establishment was passed through Parliament. Nor did he do anything while he was in power to create a NACC. It’s probably just as well or he would be behind bars.

No one thinks about Aged Care until it’s too late. There are no incentives to move out of your larger home and in any case no affordable smaller houses or units. They probably cost more than your current home. Our politicians don’t care.

How does any ordinary Australian afford to enter an Aged Care Home. You can’t afford to downsize as nothing available. If a partner has to go into a Home there goes all your assets and income, then the other partner is left in complete poverty.
