A project founder reached out to me, mentioning he was referred specifically because I don’t work with KOLs who have inorganic reach; he jokingly called them "larpfluencers."

I agreed with his sentiment.

After a brief conversation, he asked me to send over a list of potential KOLs for his project. I did so promptly.

After the campaign concluded, he shared something interesting: he and his team had thoroughly vetted every KOL on that list to see if any were "larpfluencers", and I'm not talking kaito or just some research tool.

They legitimately asked all their friends that have worked with em.

They found none on the list. That, he said, was when he knew I could be trusted.

He went on to explain that most KOL managers they’d dealt with in the past provided these low-quality influencers while still charging premium rates; resulting in high spend and zero impact.

Had there been any "larpfluencers" in my list, they would have walked away immediately.

Another hacker tried to get me!!!

So, this random account slides into my DMs. I never come across this person’s account, but strangely, we have a bunch of mutuals who usually have great taste. Oh wow, he's a KOL(Idolo), it would seem.

BTW, one easy way to spot scams? If they’re not followed by anyone you actually trust (your mutuals), that’s already a red flag. This is also applicable when researching on if a project will cook or not.

I was intrigued but cautious, so I replied briefly. Then came the offer and it was screamed “sus.��

Instantly, I hit up some of our mutual followers to ask if his account had been hacked. And guess what? They confirmed it.

See, this is where a lot of people might get caught slipping. You see 40,000 followers and think, “He must be legit.” But nah — numbers mean nothing if the vibes are off. You’ve gotta learn to read between the lines.

Funny enough, he didn’t even post about being hacked until 10 hours later… but I’d already figured it out. Why? Because I trust my gut and I always double-check.

Read the room always; all the conditions may be met, but just that one thing that you chose to ignore may be the sign.

Had it even been someone I know, I would still dm the person on another platform just to confirm they’re the ones.

Please, please stay safe out there. Don’t lose your hard-earned money to some lazy scammer fishing for a quick score. Be smarter than the scam.

Dear Anon,

It's been what, months? Years since you got onboarded into the space and you still do not have significant results. Let me tell you what you're doing wrong.

I break this down into 2 things

1. YOU’RE EVERYWHERE:

While it is good not to put your eggs in one basket, you also need to understand there is a balance to these things.

You can not jump at every single alpha that comes your way all in the name of "keep clicking." You should have a strategy. I have a law that only the projects I farm are what I will shill on my page, nothing more. To this effect, I tend to not post all the time, but some people will see it as, oh this dude is complacent, but anon I still outdid you even with all the airdrops you got this month lol(humbly speaking ofc).

You need a strategy. What kind(narrative)of projects do you like to farm?
What are the things that make you farm a project?
Are you just farming because an idolo shilled? While that is fine, you gotta also do your DD.
These sorts of questions are what you need to ask yourself, mate, and develop a strategy.

I hope I have struck a balance here. Let's head to the second part.

2. YOU INGRATE:

The second reason is that you’re an ingrate who is looking for an output that doesn’t match his input:

You can’t be putting in 20% of the work and expect 90% results. Life in its entirety doesn’t work that way. What you give it is what it gives you back; life is like an echo, and the one thing, the very one thing I know about “this crypto” is that it definitely doesn’t discriminate. EVERYONE HAS AN EQUAL CHANCE OF MAKING IT HERE; I said EVERYONE.

Then some folks are shy of their results just because it doesn’t meet “CT standards”, sorry who is setting these standards? I have spoken with folks on here who have told me they have the money to buy a car, but it’ll be a small one, so they won’t be able to post it on CT. Ah! You said what?? 😂😂

So you can see folks here are very ungrateful that they do not even acknowledge the little wins they get, they tend to forget where they are currently; someone out there is crying to God to just be like that, and they’re satisfied.

You see, you fail to realize what “significant results” mean. Significant results are intensely relative to your current financial progress in life anon. You foolishly succumb to peer pressure instead of channelling that energy towards more grinding. Well, as I will always say, “NUMB TO PRESSURE, SENSITIVE TO MOTIVATION”.
