@semaforben@daveweigel I don't think the opinions of the country can be well represented by the presidential election given the primary audience is a slightly right leaning set of states that aren't broadly representative of the country as a whole.
@chrislhayes Where what and how information is consumed and processed has been fractured, segmented, and used to create epistemic bubbles to point we don't even have a shared understanding of reality. major challenge of this era.
@whstancil The argument that centers literally on NYT or WaPo misses entirely the feeding frenzy phenomenon that signals to all OTHER outlets what the big story is. Even Fox because people go on and they talk about it - even if it's just denial, it becomes an issue.
