58 LBS DOWN🔥💪🏾
This was a fun one! About 6 months of consistent effort!
This was done with 3-4 days of training a week, some lifestyle adjustments, and best of all still eating foods he enjoyed!
Sometimes all it takes is a little direction!
Proud coach 🤍✌️
Walking 7,000+ steps per day is associated with a 31% lower risk of depression.
Every additional 1,000 steps brings another 9% lower risk.
Truly underrated for mental and physical health.
WATCH: Taiwanese grandmothers aged 89 and 91 train at the gym. An increasing number of elderly people in Taiwan’s super-aged society are hitting the gym to stay healthy, both physically and mentally.
Reaching your fitness goal is awesome…
But the real reward is who you become in the process.
You prove that you are able to commit to consistent compounding efforts.
You build the discipline and establish the habits to lead a healthier lifestyle.
“I’ll start working out once life gets less busy”
Waiting for the “right conditions” to start going to the gym…
Only elevates the likelihood of you falling off the instance something challenging happens.
Getting fit is pretty cool.
Staying fit while working a full time job, juggling kids, and getting older…
That’s a major flex.
You are basically unbeatable!
Your kids won’t remember what you told them
They’ll remember what you made normal.
They’ll remember you eating healthy, exercising regularly, & prioritizing being active instead of watching tv.
These memories will shape their habits and what they deem “normal”
Be the example.
If you lost half a pound a week, you’d lose 26lbs in the span of a year.
If you lost 1lb per week, you’d lose 52lbs in the span of a year.
We get so caught up in having immediate success that we underestimate the power of compounding habits over time.
One of the simplest (and most underrated) fat loss strategies?
Walking more.
Aiming for 7,000–12,000 steps per day cranks up your NEAT (the calories you burn outside of workouts) without the hunger or fatigue that comes with high intensity cardio.
If you want to lose fat without sacrificing energy or muscle, start by lowering your daily fat intake to the healthy minimum (around 35–50g per day).
This lets you prioritize protein and carbs, which support muscle and training performance without racking up as many calories.
The most underrated strategy for sticking to a diet long-term is simply enjoying the food you eat.
When your meals are both nutritious and genuinely satisfying, staying consistent becomes effortless.
Everything changes when people realize the scale doesn't tell the whole story.
The real transformation begins when the goal shifts from simply losing weight to building lasting habits and training automatic responses to old patterns.
That’s when they truly win.
Want to build muscle? You need to force your body to adapt.
That means progressive overload:
More weight, more reps, or more hard sets.
A “hard set” = within 3 reps of failure.
Longer rests help.
No one rep range is perfect... just train hard and close to failure.
Struggling with gym anxiety?
Plan out your session, start with a lift you enjoy, warm up, throw on music, smile at someone.
The first 15 mins are the hardest. Survive that, and momentum takes over. Confidence builds with each rep.
5 legit fat loss hacks:
1. Caffeine to start the day (more energy/ less hunger)
2. Protein + fiber with each meal (satiety)
3. 10 min walk after each meal (digestion/ blood sugar)
4. Diet soda (zero cals + curbs cravings)
5. Eating same meals daily (less decision making)
Your metabolism isn't "broken"
Resting metabolism doesn't begin to dip until age 60... and even then only drops by less than 1% per year.
The sooner you acknowledge that you aren't as active as you once were and have subpar dietary patterns...
The sooner you can take control.
Eating for fat loss and eating for health are two different things
HOWEVER…
Losing excess fat will make you healthier every time.
Eating “healthy” won’t cause fat loss every time.
