@CarolaHuttmann Thank you. It was a massive change to his pace of life and ours but hoping we can go on to rediscover all the things he used to be able to do like walk up mountains and go on long bike rides.
Big day for my youngest son today 🎉 He's been signed off by the long covid clinic after three years of living with the condition. We're so grateful to Evelina London and all the healthcare professionals we've seen on this journey and who've taken the dolly steps with us.
@SBLitAgent I also have a young son (12) with long covid, which has been ongoing for two and a half years and we're working with an NHS clinic in London to build his energy back. They are fantastic and he's improving but it's a long journey. I just wanted to let you know there's hope.
@SBLitAgent I had a similar response but without the passing out. Easy short walks would spike my hr. This lasted for around four or five months where I stopped anything but the gentlest of exercise. Things have since returned to normal...
@CarolaHuttmann Thanks. Yes, seems to be enjoying a quiet morning. A couple of years ago we had some fox cubs in the garden play fighting, a sight we hope to see again some day.
History and legend bleed together in today’s brilliant creative nonfiction piece from @anthonylevings from #SeasideGothic Issue 1. https://t.co/RYKvNvkq3d
@giorgiosuffolk @TheKirstyKojo @Isysuttie Our choices are limited. If everyone has their own rules, the ability to collectively bring this thing under control becomes impossible. The whole country needs to work as a team and for that to happen teams need leaders establishing the rules and moving us towards the goals.
Hey #WritingCommunity, I’m launching @SeasideGothic in January and I’d be very grateful for a boost or follow. It’s a new print magazine of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction from where the land meets the sea, focusing on transient and working-class voices. #WritersLift
