Direct Listings just another way for VC's like @bgurley to exploit our capital markets. Traditional IPOs have done great this year, 1st DL this year tumbles 83% hmmm

@APompliano@Pledditor@elonmusk You must have dyscalculia to look at that chart and think you’re winning. You’re down about $350k on that investment bud. Maybe you shouldn’t be a douche bag. You bght 2k shares of TSLA 🤣 My 10yo owns more than you do!
Robinhood $HOOD just unveiled Robinhood Ventures
"Robinhood Ventures Fund I (RVI) is a closed-end fund that aims to offer retail investors exposure to companies at the frontiers of their industries, while they are still private."
You are looking at the largest seizure of precursor chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine in U.S. history. China was sending over 700,000 lbs on the high seas to the Sinaloa Cartel before my office seized them.
Because President Trump and Secretary Rubio declared the Sinaloa Cartel a Foreign Terrorist Organization, we can now strike faster and hit harder.
Swedish fintech Klarna confirmed its plans to go public through an IPO on the NYSE
Klarna plans to offer ~34.3M shares priced between $35-$37 per share. Klarna plans to trade under the ticker $KLAR - Reuters
@masoncags@bgurley Couldn’t agree more brother. And you have people like Bill that have made all of his money in the system he now calls “broken” because he no longer has the edge there. So he’ll just keep bitching and moaning that the world is against him from his 60,000 sq ft home.
For all the knuckleheads that continuously point to the IPO process being broken that know nothing about the capital markets and peddle misinformation for their own benefit. How’s this for data @bgurley? Seems pretty “elegant” to me. https://t.co/1mg9P5ZplM
Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the @SECGov@SECPaulSAtkins is approving Chamath’s filing to raise capital from US investors. This dude has cheated and sucked 🍆 all the way to the top, financially ruined households with his terrible investments (multiple times), says it’s Main Streets time and Wall Street is cooked, yet uses WS to raise funds, and in his S-1 filing says his SPAC is not for retail investors and there’s no crying in the casino like a real arrogant prick that he is. Oh - and then he names it American Exceptionalism and isn’t even American. Seriously - why do we put up with this fcking dweeb who rocks a tramp stamp?
Who puts this in an S-1 - …“if retail investors do lose their entire capital, they will embody the adage from President Trump that there can be 'no crying in the casino.”
@SECGov @SECPaulSAtkins @HesterPeirce - do something!! https://t.co/ZoTI6wiK3p
@Trace_Cohen@bgurley Love when VC’s throw in the ol’ DL path so Bill could get all excited about the thought of fcking people over. You guys are soooo cool 😉
Best of luck to you guys. Not sure I’ve seen a project sunset in this space, or any for that matter, and pay back their investors that took a chance on them. Lots of respect for being responsible founders and not using all the capital you raised when the writing was on the wall like 99% would have. New meta???
Agreed. I think this will be the one that takes some of that froth out of the IPO mkt (which is a good thing), that we’ve seen with some of these crypto exchanges racing to go public with some lofty valuations. The story needs to be very compelling imo and it definitely has brand awareness but I’m not sold on it just yet. Should have tried to come before Bullish.
