@firasd Genette (literary theorist) talks about focalization—when the thoughts / perceptions of a character intrude into 3rd person narration, they are said to be “focalized” through that character. I wouldn’t necessarily call it modernist—happens as far back as Homer!
@wsavage_dcfc@CSMFHT The Trojan Horse occurs after the events of the Iliad, which ends with the funeral of Hector (BEFORE the death of Achilles…or the horse…or the sack of Troy…) The story is chronologically prior to the events of the Odyssey, but is narrated several times within that poem.

@ProudAFAmerican I have a friend who teaches during the school year & works for a tour company in the national parks during the summer. Bookings are already catastrophic. Tours that were already booked up years in advance are now being cancelled because so many are dropping out.
