The Fire Brigades Union stands ‘firmly in solidarity with trans, non-binary and gender diverse members.’
But not, apparently, with women who wish to undress - or use the toilet - without males present.
This union appears to be unaware that being forced to share facilities with male colleagues may cause ‘fear’ for women.
Or that they also have the right to ‘respect and dignity’ at work. And for their employers to follow the law.
Extraordinary.

I’m gay. Everyone is well aware of that.
But... Here's the fucking thing...
I’m done pretending I don’t see what the TQIA+ expansion has done to the LGB.
We were a coalition built on a shared, immutable reality: same-sex attraction.
That’s it. Simple. Concrete. Unapologetic.
Lesbians loving lesbians. Gay men loving gay men. Bisexuals navigating both.
We didn’t need to rewrite biology or demand that reality bend to feelings.
We just demanded to be left the hell alone to love who we love.
Then the pluses started piling on, each one bringing new dogma, new demands, new guilt trips.
Suddenly the movement isn’t about sexual orientation anymore...it’s about gender identity, endless labels, and compulsory validation of everyone’s internal sense of self.
And if you point out that same-sex attraction is inherently exclusive of the opposite sex, no matter how someone identifies?
You’re the bigot. You’re the TERF. You’re the one who needs to be educated, shamed, canceled.
The psychological sleight of hand is masterful: take a civil rights movement rooted in material reality and subsume it under an ideology that insists reality is optional.
Make the gays and lesbians feel like the intolerant ones for having boundaries.
Turn “no” into hate speech.
I’ve watched lesbian spaces vanish, gay kids get medicalized for being gender-nonconforming, and the word “homosexual” become a dirty word in our own community.
I’ve seen young women get called bigots for not wanting dick.
I’ve seen the Overton window dragged so far that basic same-sex attraction is now framed as exclusionary violence.
This isn’t progress.
This is colonization.
The LGB fought for the right to exist as we are.
The TQIA+ demands we stop existing as we are unless we center their ideology.
I’m not here to police anyone’s identity.
Live your life.
But stop hijacking mine.
Stop rewriting mine.
Stop telling me my sexual orientation is a punchline or a problem to be solved.
The LGB was never about validating everyone’s feelings.
It was about defending a reality the world tried to erase.
And I’m goddamn tired of watching that reality get erased again...this time by people waving our own flag.
Drop the fucking alphabet.

Answer: it helps girls. It tells girls they have the right to things of their own. It tells girls they have the right to say 'no'. It reminds girls that the desires of boys do not supersede their feelings, their rights, their discomfort or their safety.
@DrRitaDed Oh dear Rita, the delusion is strong with you isn't it. Despite numerous repetitions your statement is still categorically untrue. Which part is biologically woman? The penis? Prostrate? Scrotum?
@DOGE__news I'm assuming he wants to be seen as woman, live like a woman etc. Does he not understand that part of the reality of being a woman is being constantly concerned about your safety? It's what we live with. He doesn't understand, because he's a bloke.
@WireMonkeyMummy@mushycrouton And for being an amazing champion of girls and women's rights of course. People are deluding themselves as much about her as they are about the fact that they believe men can become women. I guess if you're delusional it's going to be about everything?
@anomalousteacup@HelenWebberley@Girlguiding It amazes that anyone thinks that there are no women's rights without trans rights. Trans are literally men pretending to be women ... which is fine ... but stop pretending that they're actually women or have any part of women's rights.
@AntiWokeMemes He's addressed as sir or 'he' that often that you'd think he'd be bored of writing about it by now. I'm certainly bored of hearing him whine about it. You're a guy who looks like a guy ... live with it.
@lunarMiah @BrettGibbs17@sappholives83 Absolutely, it's their reality. That of a man living as a woman. It's their right and they deserve respect and grace to live that life. But the reality is that they shouldn't be categorised as actual women.
@lunarMiah @sappholives83 but a transwoman's lived experience is of a man living how he believes a woman is and how a woman lives. It's a male experience of womanhood and can never be anything other than that. You might not like it, but it's the truth.
@sinhotigre@tinnysugar@jk_rowling If you think that JK Rowling is bitter, unhappy, or bothered by other people's lives then I think you must be talking about some other JK Rowling. To be fair, it's you who seems to be all of those things. Some projection going on here I think.
We are picketing the Dame Phillis Frost Women’s Prison because a man who raped his 5 year old daughter is currently incarcerated with the women in there and security has come out and they have told us to get off the property and have called the police on us ..
This girl transitioned at the age of 14, now she’s speaking out trying to warn others.
Says she didn’t even know how to do Algebra so how could she make a decision to remove healthy parts of her body?
She left reviews on the surgeons website & they were deleted.
God bless her!
