On February 29, 2024, PSAC 901's Steward’s Council unanimously voted to add 'caste' to our anti-harassment statement as a ground for discrimination. This statement is read at the outset of all meetings held by the local which are open to the membership. #psac901
CUPE 3902 has set an example by taking measures to combat caste discrimination in the workplaces of graduate education workers.
It's a historic win for anti-caste movement in UofT and Canada.
