David Bowie said something about aging:
“Ageing is an extraordinary process whereby you become the person that you always should have been.”
We spend the first half of life trying to become someone:
Successful.
Respected.
Wealthy.
Relevant.
Accepted.
Then, if we’re lucky, we realise the real journey is becoming ourselves.
Aging isn’t necessarily about losing youth, it can be about losing the things that were never really you:
The need to impress.
The fear of saying no.
The obsession with other people’s opinions.
The pressure to follow someone else’s definition of success.
You become more selective about where you invest your time, more comfortable with who you are. And hopefully, less interested in proving yourself and more interested in living meaningfully.
Perhaps the best thing about getting older isn’t having more years behind you, it’s finally having the courage to become the person you were meant to be.
That’s a pretty good definition of growing up.
I want reparations for every tax dollar that subsidized illegal aliens.
It was OUR MONEY. Meant to spend on our best interests for a better America.
We never should have footed that bill.
We are owed a massive refund and income taxes along with property taxes canceled indefinitely.
Not one more penny.
My mom told me, “People hate Trump… why waste your time drawing him?” 💔
Maybe she’s right. Maybe nobody will like it. Maybe this post will get 0 retweets and no attention. 😭
But I still wanted to create this sketch because art is how I express myself. ✏️❤️
What do you honestly think of my Trump sketch? Rate it 1–10.
