The ANC and DA have reached a deal in the budget speed bump that nearly
derailed the GNU. At long last the DA has got what it wanted the devolution of PRASA. Basically the DA will run the trains in Western Cape. Amongst many other things. The DA will also co chair operation Vulinldlela in the presidency. The deal was reached early this morning around 3am after hours if negotiations.

This is why we tell you no matter what, support President Cyril Ramaphosa. Have issues with political parties but SUPPORT CYRIL RAMAPHOSA. From today the GNU will be stronger than ever.

The last few days in Madrid have been an absolute revelation for me.

For years, I had settled with the fact that my peak in chess was in 2018 (2421 elo) and I would never get it back. My life goal was finished - International Master. I’m almost 30…

And suddenly… it’s all gone. I’m not nervous. I’m not obsessing over results. I’m more confident and focused than I have ever been before.

I worked my ass off for the past 2 months before this tournament in Spain, strengthening my openings/calculation, but also reminding myself that it will be a very long journey which begins with a single step. Win lose or draw, I will learn from every game.
