The Ferrari Luce is out, and it's fascinating to watch the reaction.

This car feels like one of the purest tests of brand loyalty I've seen in a long time. Ferrari took a radically different direction with the design, the minimalist interior, and the whole four-door GT concept. The engineering looks impressive on paper, but the styling and character are clearly dividing even the most dedicated fans.

It makes me think about Apple's Vision Pro. All that engineering talent and brand power behind a product that many respected, yet most people ultimately decided they didn't need or want at that price. The tech was there, the execution was premium, but the emotional pull just wasn't strong enough for broad adoption.

Will the Luce be similar? Can Ferrari's name and waiting list system carry a car that doesn't immediately scream "Ferrari" to traditional buyers? Or will this finally show the limits of even the strongest luxury brands when they push too far from what built their identity?

Curious to hear what others think. Is this a smart evolution or a risky detachment from the soul of the brand?
