@openchamber_dev 7/7 — The one downside
There's SO much functionality that OpenChamber can feel overwhelming, especially at first.
But I could keep listing things I love about it all day.
And honestly, remember the first time you opened an IDE?
Great tools have a learning curve.
Been using @openchamber_dev daily for about a month now.
Came because OpenCode killed the vertical sidebar. Stayed because OpenChamber is just that good
Not going back.
Honestly, other coding tools should be stealing ideas from it.
Here's what won me over ↓
@openchamber_dev 6/7 — Projectless sessions
Sometimes I just need a quick script, a one-off task, or something ChatGPT in the browser can't handle.
No repo. No project setup. Just open a session and get it done.
Didn't realize how much I needed this
When MiniMax M3.1 Flash was getting all the hype a few weeks ago, I was more excited about what competing labs would drop next.
Looks like Kimi took that personally.
Is this the next leapfrog?

Result: a 2021 Fire HD 10 Plus with Play Store, a real launcher, custom icons, wallpapers, no ads, no Kids+, no Kindle, no Amazon clutter.
Once the LineageOS is more stable, will install it too: https://t.co/MIOpxgpIvb
My parents' Fire HD 10 Plus was less a tablet, more a sluggish Amazon ADs billboard.
Now it's rooted, de-Amazoned, Play Store, new launcher, icons + wallpapers — stock Fire OS, no custom ROM.
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash helped a lot, making it simple and step by step. 🧵
Then make it feel like a Pixel:
• Lawnchair 12.1 launcher (14/15/16 all crash on Android 9 — 12.1 is the stable one)
• Lawnicons icon pack
• AOSP/LineageOS keyboard instead of SwiftKey
• WallYou for wallpapers
