This is a picture of my Macbook from January 2024
My girl of 5 years had just left me
Me, being an emotional retard, i just wanted a little dopamine hit by trading all my 5 accounts to make one big stack of cash
We all know how that went
I blew them all and it sent me spiraling
I barely had any money left, couldn’t sleep, felt like shit, i just wanted to stay at home
This was by far the lowest point in my life, i had never been so uncomfortable
I felt like i had nothing left to lose so i went all in on trading with the last money i had left (1500$)
I was spending 12 hours or more everyday in front of the charts, mostly to distract myself
Sweating every time i pushed the button
However, this time i forced myself subconsciously to follow my rules because i was scared shitless of what the market could do to me
I couldn’t afford that next account.
After a couple weeks I finally started stacking small payouts
And 6 months later i had my first 5-figure day.
You NEED that uncomfortable position in order to get where you want
You probably won’t get there without it
Stress isn’t the enemy. Anxiety isn’t the problem. What’s the real issue?
Simply not knowing why you feel that way. Sit with it. Observe it. Find the trigger. Once you solve it at the root, it loses power over you, for good.
Remember your trading journey is mostly a mental and self development journey.
You don’t need to argue about concepts.
You don’t need to chase mentors.
All you need is experience.
The market will show you what works.
Your losses, your wins, your patience, this is your real teacher.
A mentor can show the door, but you have to walk through it.
If you can’t take a loss and move on, trading will be a painful journey.
The key is to accept that losses are part of the process and keep your focus on the bigger picture.
