Have you ever opened the SwiftUI Xcode Library and thought, "oh, I wish I could just write a little bit of code to put MY views in there?" Well, this talk might be for you:

Seriously, CNN? Do you need to show us Donald’s plane taking off?
The media should have learned its lesson after its failed coverage of the 2016 election when empty podiums and planes idling on the tarmac were deemed newsworthy.
Yet, here we are again and the media is making the same mistakes all over.
Donald Trump will be arraigned tomorrow in a New York City courtroom to face 34 charges—that’s what matters. How he gets to the courtroom isn’t news.
The media’s insistence on covering every aspect of this man’s life to the exclusion of all else is one of the reasons this country is in such dire straits.
Enough.
This thread will have no pictures. I can't bring myself to post them.
I interviewed people in Kherson who lived under occupation. These are teachers, city officials, businessman...
This is a glimpse into the mysterious Russian soul, unfiltered, true, w/o glamour. 1/
Ukraine and Russia aren’t having a territorial dispute.
Russia believes that Ukraine shouldn’t exist.
Ukrainian books are being burned.
Ukrainian children are being stolen.
This is called an attempted genocide.
Hope that clears it up!
Russians cowardly and dishonorably executed this unarmed Ukrainian POW. His last words were 'Glory to Ukraine'. He was shot repeatedly after saying it. If Russians did it with a goal of intimidating Ukrainians, they achieved the opposite effect: he will be forever seen as a hero
One year later, Kyiv stands. Ukraine stands. Democracy stands. America — and the world — stands with Ukraine.
Рік потому Київ стоїть. Україна стоїть. Демократія стоїть. Америка – і світ – стоїть з Україною.
Message to Mr. Bettman. You are wrong! The majority of the citizens of our country, the majority of our senate, our prime minister and the new president have the same or very similar opinion. The participation of Russian athletes in competitions is support for Russian propaganda.
@OmarShaik10 @Davidlaz Oh for sure. It’s the combination of the car culture and the nimbyism will never let this get off the ground for real. We used to live by the Tamien station and the amount of negativity about the high speed train going through there was unreal. That was 14 years ago.
@OmarShaik10 @Davidlaz Well there’s already a high speed train between Paris and Frankfurt and Frankfurt and Berlin, so that’s not quite the same as starting from nothing
Horrible scenes from Dnipro today. Dead, wounded… elderly… children… just human beings…I don’t know what else should happen for the entire world to understand: #russiaisateroriststate and should be treated as such 😡 The world must help Ukraine to #StopRussia
Senseless barbarism. These are the only words that come to mind seeing Russia launch another missile barrage at peaceful Ukrainian cities ahead of New Year. There can be no ‘neutrality’ in the face of such mass war crimes. Pretending to be ‘neutral’ equals taking Russia’s side.
@kevinhoctor I remember coming to the US from Ukraine where I was sure I could speak fluent English. Boy I was in for a rude awakening. Turns out I spoke no English at all. Keep it up and if your experience is like mine your kids will one day refuse to speak to you in anything but Italian
