@paulg could be right, maybe. on the other hand theoretically if this were true then currently founders wouldn't be involved in sales at all once they hired SDR/BDR roles. But for large transactions they are still very involved as the face time with a founder makes a difference
@danushman i dont think this is appropriately categorized as an "unpopular opinion" bc by design people who like beer are proof that this opinion is wrong and among people who dont like beer it would be a popular opinion. @grok back me up here
@shanebarakat Production ready software that can handle scale. Most vibe coded products will never be put to that test so it doesn’t matter that much, until it does.
@a16z not sure i agree with this take although i know what you're getting at but... this is like plotting cloud spend vs. direct customer spend. a lot of these agents aren't customers, theyre infrastructure
@shawmakesmagic skip breakfast, eat high protein low carb, low alcohol and drink plenty of water. burn more calories than you consume, and stay within a slight deficit (200-500 cal per day) if you can stick to those, you'll look better than you did 20 yrs ago unless you were already doing these
@guilleflorvs these are both extreme ends of this spectrum. but a 20 year old with no savings needs to pay rent. so best bet for them is get a job, and do ai powered business experiments on the side until one can cover your cost of living. then decide if you want to run a small service biz
@lofiprofen@MattWalshBlog "human work and art" are not being replaced by AI. they CAN be done (poorly) by AI, like music, video, images etc. but the industries that employ people to do those things are integrating AI into their processes without using straight AI to make pop music, blockbuster movies, etc
"and if you argue otherwise i have to assume that you have a stake in pushing this" > this quote tells me it doesnt matter what I say because we're not having a rational conversation. THAT SAID, a lot of the new jobs in AI will be knowledge jobs, the main sector where AI is removing jobs
