@droldren@vencunningham I mean thats not collaborationist thats just pragmatism. How else do you think this congress is going to pass legislation?? Thats just how things are until we get a new president, and its not as if hes suggesting going back on any of his stances, if anything hes doubled down
People like this are so dumb, I personally like the part of the state I live in being subsidized by Chicagoland. Imagine how shit Southern IL infrastructure would be without Chicago.
@parsons_tor I think its very possible that it could just be access to a cemetery for burial, as a lot of the west just doesnt really have any land set aside for that
Its interesting how nobody in this argument ever brings up the Republic of Colombia, which is also named after the Americas. Should we call Colombians republicans?
In Spanish is Estadounidense
In French is Γtats-unien
In Portuguese is estadunidense
In Italian is Statunitense
In Catalan is estatunidenc
In Galician is estadounidense
In English, meanwhile, is "american"
What a fucking narcisists
@zhongus_dongus Okay but what if the story isnt that these cultures survived but rather that they were intentionally suppressed? I don't really understand this criticism, nobody knows what the story is yet how can you criticise it on this point
@danker_hank I mean it really depends on where you are at in the US. My school went really in depth on Cahokia but thats mostly because we were right next to it. I can imagine a school in idaho or some shit wouldnt have the same focus.
