The only thing worse than starting something and failing is not starting.
Starting all over again is not that bad...
So, take a deep breath, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again.
One of the hardest things to do is to accept your mistake. Once you start accepting your mistakes instead of justifying them, you'll automatically know the areas you need to improve upon to become a better version of yourself.
I get up and see my roommate still asleep, so I go back to sleep.

This goes on and on and on...
We make a ton of decisions every day. Some great, some not so great. But we have to ultimately learn to live with the consequences our decisions bring for us right?
So, don't forget to take a leap of faith every now and then, and never regret your decisions once you make them.
