If you are in crypto, never forget you are building Wartime technology.
Technology that forcibly removes power from the State and into the hands of Individuals.
Democratizing the capability to create digital financial products, to be your own bank, your own sovereign, your own money printer. Regulatory capture and entrenched interest don’t love.
Even centralized entities make a Faustian bargain, standing at the gallows at the whims of Regulators, trying to be honest brokers and suffice the needs of the State to service their fellow Man.
But one wrong turn, and the State won’t hesitate to execute.
Crypto is political and your politics are digital freedom: the freedom to freely (permisionlessly) transact, create, and distribute, yet abide by the rules of the state when you touch their boundaries (ie. fiat, marketing/launches).
Highly creative people are usually absent-minded, as their brains spend most of the time connecting dots that seem to have no connection.
This also makes them wildly curious about a wide range of topics that seem to have no real-life outcome or connection to their work.
A product is a theory of how to solve a problem.
Marketing is a unique explanation of a solution.
A founder is uniquely qualified to build a company.
Good products are hard to vary.
Good marketing is hard to vary.
Good founders are hard to vary.

Many average students in India end up becoming college professors. In private colleges, they are called "Assistant Professors".
Along with teaching: they prepare for UPSC/GMAT/CAT. So that one day they can better their career prospects.
In short, they don't really want to teach.
Students are "forced" to learn from them because most colleges have 75% attendance rule.
In short, the student really don't want to learn from them.
So a great ecosystem is created: where the teacher isn't really interested in teaching. And, the student isn't really interested in learning.
Yet, the drama goes on. And, we wonder why most graduates in India are not skilled.
"If you want to make the maximum amount of money possible, if you want to get rich over your life in a deterministically predictable way, stay on the bleeding edge of trends and study technology, design, and art—become really good at something."

[1] RTE (right to education) was a socialist act that destroyed the supply of "average" private schools in India.
[2] Government (instead of improving the standards of public schools) for which it collects tax, decided to
[3] Force a bunch of schools to institute reservation.
[4] Within a few years, many private schools (which were low cost & were operating on razor thin margins) decided to shut shop.
[5] The school "business", got more organised. Large predatory private schools which were anyways charging crazy money, survived.
[6] Now, they are simply jacking up the prices. And, will continue to do so.
Give it 10 more years, a lot of Kirana shops will shut shop too.
A handful of big business houses will sell everything from door nail to the internet. And, the end junta will pay the price.
