HAPPY INT’L WOMEN'S DAY

"The ANU Cricket Club Juniors has worked hard to build a positive, welcoming and inclusive community environment.

One of my proudest achievements has been to see our junior girls cricket program consistently double in size year-on-year.

Have spent a lot of time this yr advocating for & sourcing dark female-fitted #cricket pants for our @anuccjuniors girls so that they do not have to suffer w/ #periodanxiety experienced when wearing whites.

The colour and cut have definitely made a big difference! @legsidelizzy

[Cricket Australia @CricketAus]

Our @AusWomenCricket team got their second #CWC22 win on the trot with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in beautiful Mt. Maunganui!

Next up, they'll take on hosts New Zealand in Wellington on Sunday 🙌

Australia allrounder Jess Jonassen has a message for everyone who underestimates female athletes.

The commitment to equity in sport & cricket is ingrained in everything we do. So whilst we celebrate the progress we have made, we acknowledge there is still a long way to go. Together, we will continue to shift the dial forward"
