#LestWeForgetIndia 🇮🇳
Remembering the #KaluchakMassacre — one of the most inhuman and brutal terror attacks.
#OnThisDay, 14 May in 2002, Pakistani terrorists massacred 31 innocent Indians -
🔸 10 children (between the ages of 2 months and 18 years)
🔸 8 women
🔸 3 Indian Braves
🔸 10 civilians
At Kaluchak in J&K, terrorists, disguised in Army uniforms, first opened fire on passengers in a Himachal Pradesh Roadways bus before storming into an Army camp and entering the army family quarter lines
What followed was not war, but a planned cold-blooded massacre.
Today, we remember and pay solemn tribute to all those we lost.🏵️
The scars remain, as does our unwavering resolve.

Some more perspective from my days in the IDF: In the weeks ahead, you'll struggle to reconcile your anger at Hamas with awful images of civilian casualties in Gaza. To help you arrive at your own conclusions, here's a primer on the IDF's moral framework for urban combat. 1/x

He opened our eyes and made us aware
Of all the lies, and layer upon layer
He exposed the guile and the deceit,
the Hindu hate in every tweet
He bared Ashoka and the Mughals
Akbar, Taimur, their tower of skulls
He exposed Romila and Habib
Wire WaPo and the Beeb
Till fists banged on treasury benches
And he was hanged across the trenches
On windy days you still can see
There he sways from that tree
Maos and Afzals brimming with bile
Shout while dancing in the aisle
You have done what we couldn't do
A few more names are here for you
Strike them off quick one by one
Oh what justice Oh what fun
Bury them good and string their hope
Here's a shovel and some rope
Leftists gather, durbaris scream
At fulfilment of their dream
We can lie now without a care
For there hangs our nightmare
Storms abate, debates end
Historians crawl when asked to bend
History again is sans the balm
Wind has stopped and there is calm
Swaying Indology no longer creeks
Betrayed Bharadwaj no longer speaks
And Sharia-Bolsheviks blow a kiss
Thank you BJP, thank you Fadnavis

In Mahabharat's local version, Karn asks Lord Krishn - "My mother left me the moment I was born.
Is it my fault I was born an illegitimate child?
I did not get the education from Dhronachary because I was considered not a Kshatriya.
Parshu-Raam taught me but then gave me the curse to forget everything (much before he came to know I was Son of Kunthi belong to Kshatriy) .
A cow was accidentally hit by my arrow & its owner cursed me for no fault of mine.
I was disgraced in Draupadi's Swayamvar.
Even Kunthi finally told me the truth only to save her other sons.
Whatever I received was through Duryodhan's charity. So how am I wrong in taking his side ?
Lord Krishn replies, Karn, I was born in a jail. Death was waiting for me even before my birth.
The night I was born I was separated from my birth parents.
From childhood, you grew up hearing the noise of swords, chariots, horses, bow, and arrows.
I got only cow herd's shed, dung, & multiple attempts on my life even before I could walk.
No Army, No Education.
I could hear people saying I am reason for all their problems.
When all of u were being appreciated for ur valour by ur teachers I had not even received any education.
I joined Gurukul of Rishi Sandipani only at the age of 16! .You are married to a girl of your choice. I didn't get the girl I loved & rather ended up marrying those who wanted me or the ones I rescued from demons.
I had to move my whole community from the banks of Yamuna to far off Sea shore from Jarasandh, I was called a coward for running away.
If Duryodhan wins the war u will get a lot of credit. What do I get if Dharmaraaj wins the war?
Only the blame for the war and all related problems...
Remember one thing, Karn.
Everybody has Challenges in life to face. LIFE IS NOT FAIR & EASY ON ANYBODY!
But what is Right (Dharma) is known to your Mind (conscience). No matter how much unfairness we got.
how many times we were Disgraced, we Fall, what is important is how you REACTED at that time.
Life's unfairness does not give you license to walk the wrong path.
Always remember, Life may be tough at few points, but DESTINY is not created by the SHOES we wear but by the STEPS we take.
Jai Shree Krishna 🙏
If post-Brexit Britain intends to be a country of any consequence, aside of its status as America’s peon, it needs to stitch a meaningful partnership with India. Given its structural realities, that's easier said than done. My latest.
