MHALUNGE ROAD ACCIDENT: TRUCK DRIVER BOOKED, BUT WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POTHOLES?

A fatal accident on the Mhalunge-Nande Road has raised serious questions over road safety and accountability.

According to police, Rishabh Patole died after coming under the wheels of a truck following an accident reportedly triggered by potholes and the poor condition of the road.

🚛 Bavdhan Police have registered a case against the truck driver.

❓ But what about the authorities responsible for maintaining the road?

No action has been reported yet against officials or agencies allegedly responsible for the poor road conditions, raising questions about accountability.

Bavdhan Police Inspector Arvind Pawar said that appropriate legal action will be taken against anyone found responsible during the investigation.

विशेष आग्रह :

भाजपा की गलत नीतियों की वजह से उप्र में जो असहनीय बिजली संकट चल रहा है, उसके लिए बिजली विभाग के कनिष्ठ कर्मचारियों या लाइनमैन पर जनता अपना गुस्सा न निकाले। बिजली विभाग के हज़ारों संविदा कर्मचारियों की छँटनी के बाद वो पहले से ही बहुत दबाव में काम कर रहे हैं।

दरअसल इस ‘महा विद्युत आपदा’ के लिए भाजपा सरकार, भाजपा के बिजली मंत्री, भाजपा के सांसद, विधायक, मेयर, पार्षद से लेकर बिजली विभाग के उच्चाधिकारी व भ्रष्ट ठेकेदार ज़िम्मेदार हैं, जो इस नाकाम सत्ता में अप्रत्यक्ष-प्रत्यक्ष रूप से हिस्सेदार हैं। सवाल-जवाब इन लोगों से किया जाए।

सच तो ये है कि भाजपा सरकार ने बिजली व्यवस्था को ठप्प कर दिया है। न नई माँग की पूर्ति के लिए जेनरेशन हेतु कोई नया पावर प्लांट लगाया है, न ट्रांसमिशन के लिए नई व्यवस्था की गयी है, न डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन के लिए। ऊपर से स्मार्ट मीटर का महाभ्रष्टाचार भी करेले पर नीम चढ़ा रहा है।

ये बेहद निंदनीय है कि भाजपाई और उनके संगी-साथी बिजली की शिकायत करनेवालों को धमका रहे है और शिकायतकर्ताओं पर FIR तक हो रही है। अस्पताल तक बिजली के बिना बेहद परेशान हैं। जेनरेटर महंगे डीज़ल की वजह से शांत हैं।

हमारा ये भी आग्रह है कि घर के बड़े बुजुर्गों, बीमारों व बच्चों का विशेष ख़्याल रखें और जब भी बिजली आए तो मोबाइल चार्ज कर लें और टार्च तैयार करके रखें। ये भी ध्यान रखें कि अंधेरे का फ़ायदा उठाकर कोई असामाजिक तत्व आपके वाहनों, घर के सामनों पर हाथ न साफ़ कर जाएं। पशुओं का भी विशेष ध्यान रखें। बिजली की कमी से पीने की पानी का भी सीधा संबंध है, इसलिए पानी भरकर रखें और गर्मी से बचने के लिए पानी पीते रहें।
