کہا جاتا ہے کہ تصویر میں نظر آنے والا نوجوان، احمد عبداللہ، ایک فارماسسٹ تھا اور ایک میڈیکل اسٹور پر کام کرتا تھا۔ ہر مہینے ایک غریب بزرگ خاتون اپنی دوا لینے اس کے پاس آتی تھی۔ جب بھی وہ اسے دیکھتی، اس کا چہرہ خوشی سے کھل اٹھتا۔ کئی سالوں سے وہ یہی دوا لے رہی تھی، اور یہ نوجوان اس سے صرف 200 مصری پاؤنڈ لیتا تھا۔ وہ رقم ادا کر کے چلی جاتی۔

پھر ایک دن یہ نوجوان اس دنیا سے رخصت ہو گیا…
کچھ عرصے بعد وہی بزرگ خاتون دوبارہ اسی میڈیکل اسٹور آئی، اپنی دوا لی اور کاؤنٹر پر 200 پاؤنڈ دینے لگی، مگر وہ نوجوان وہاں موجود نہیں تھا۔

اس سے پہلے کہ وہ اس کے بارے میں پوچھتی، نئے کیشیئر نے حیرانی سے کہا:
“یہ کیا ہے، اماں جی؟”

خاتون نے جواب دیا:
“یہ دوا کے 200 پاؤنڈ ہیں۔”

کیشیئر نے کہا:
“لیکن اماں جی، اس دوا کی قیمت تو 2,000 پاؤنڈ ہے!”

یہ سن کر وہ حیران رہ گئی اور بولی:
“میں تو تین سال سے یہی دوا 200 پاؤنڈ میں لے رہی ہوں… وہ نوجوان کہاں ہے؟”

نئے کیشیئر نے افسردگی سے جواب دیا:
“وہ انتقال کر گئے ہیں، اللہ ان پر رحم فرمائے۔”

جب ریکارڈ چیک کیا گیا تو معلوم ہوا کہ وہ نوجوان ہر مہینے اپنی جیب سے 1,800 پاؤنڈ ادا کر کے اس خاتون کی مدد کرتا رہا تھا۔

جب دکان کے مالک کو یہ بات معلوم ہوئی تو اس نے فیصلہ کیا کہ وہ اس بزرگ خاتون کو یہی دوا اسی قیمت پر دیتا رہے گا، تاکہ یہ اس نوجوان کے لیے صدقۂ جاریہ بن جائے۔

ایسے نیک دل انسان کی عزت اور یاد کو زندہ رکھنے کا سب سے کم از کم طریقہ یہ ہے کہ ہم اس کے لیے دعا کریں۔ اللہ اس پر اپنی رحمتیں نازل فرمائے۔
