The alleged abduction of innocent Kuki civilians is a grave matter that cannot be ignored. Reports pointing towards the involvement of Saloni Tony must be taken seriously and investigated without delay. If he is innocent, a fair investigation will reveal the truth. But if found guilty, immediate arrest and strict legal action must follow.

From the reported intimidation of Kuki women in Hengbung Kuki Village to the alleged role in the illegal abduction of Kuki civilians in Senapati, the growing pattern of fear and violence has deeply disturbed the people. Such acts threaten peace, justice and the safety of innocent civilians.

We urge @manipur_police and @NIA_India to conduct a transparent and impartial investigation into these serious allegations and ensure that everyone responsible is held accountable. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Families of the 14 detained villagers, 13 from Taphou Kuki and 1 from Hengbung, have issued a heartbreaking plea for their immediate and safe release. Calling them innocent civilians with no role in the conflict, the families say every passing hour brings unbearable fear, trauma and suffering. He had just completed his class 11 final exams. Now, Hengunsei is still a minor. He's only 16 years of age. He also has a disability and he's essentially an orphan. His mother left him when he was a child and his father passed away this January. Now, his friends have started their class 12 a week ago. He could not come. He's still in Taphou village. He was in Taphou village to earn his fare money, just to come from his village to Lamka... I earnestly appeal to the government at the state and the centre, to all the security agencies and to all right-thinking community leaders across the region. Please put an end to this madness... Let us release all the hostages on all sides, including our boy, Hengunsei Khongsai... On the 14th of May, as I've been given to understand by his family members, Hengunsei Khongsai, along with his friends and village members were earning money as a daily wage labourer. On their way home to their village, they were stopped, in front of Mount Everest College, Senapati, where they were stopped by Senapati District Student Association (SDSA) members. There were also police members present there, security personnel. Instead of protecting Hengunsei Khongsai and his friends and his villagers, the security people have handed over these civilians into the hands of the SDSA... All involved parties, including the SDSA student leaders as well as the police personnel involved in that incident must be investigated and they must be held accountable for whatever happens to Hengunsei Khongsai and the abducted 14 members."

SDSA cannot hide behind the label of a student organisation while carrying out acts of terror against unarmed civilians. Kidnapping women and children is not activism, not politics, and not justice it is a crime against humanity.
The silence and inaction from authorities are raising serious questions. Every passing hour without action only deepens public anger and distrust.
