▪︎Similarly, a full 7 hours after the killing of the poor Kuki Farmer, the official @INC_Manipur page publicized a footage of MP @Bimol_Akoijam passionately beating his chest, lamenting over the property damage while confronting the security forces, with absolutely no mention or shred of grief for the murdered farmer.

I seek clarification regarding the individuals seen in the circulated footage from Leimakhong today. Manipuri Naga militants (ZUF-K) fired upon two Kuki farmers, Mr. Haolal and his wife, in Govajang while they were farming.

The incident took place at around 2:00 PM.

Initially, the villagers of Govajang believed that no one had been killed. However, when Mr. Haolal failed to return from his farm, the villagers launched a search operation. His body was found at around 7:00 PM.

The total number of Kuki deaths at the hands of Manipuri Naga militants now stands at 15.

☮️THE MYTH OF NEUTRALITY:
How the Tangkhul-led NSCN (Muivah) exploited Manipur Crisis, with a larger goal to destabilise Northeast & wage war against India.

■The facade of neutrality or Non-alignment was shattered when the @NIA_India chargesheet in march 7 2024 expoosed that the "China-Myanmar module" of NSCN (Muivah) under the leadership of Hangshi Tangkhul & Absilom Tangkhul supplied Terrorist grade weapons & sent cadres of Mynamar based Meitei Terrorists to infiltrate India in order to escalate the ethnic unrest in Manipur & carry out terrorist attacks in India, with a larger goal to destabilise Northeast & wage a war against the Govt of India.

■But as the President's Rule threatened to freeze the Meitei-Kuki conflict into a static gridlock which deprived the NSCN-IM of the chaos necessary to fuel its secessionist ambitions, Th Muivah & the Tangkhul leadership of NSCN-IM engineered a horizontal expansion of the conflict by exploiting ethnic identities & weaponizing the Tangkhul youths. This calculated provocation was maneuvered to forcibly drag the Manipur Nagas into the theater of war, effectively escalating a localized, bilateral ethnic clash into a multi-front regional threat.

■The Govt of India had the foresight to recognize that the NSCN-IM's premeditated Abduction, Mutilation & brutal Execution of 2 Kuki civilians on March 11 was not an isolated crime, but a strategically engineered provocation to destabilize NE & plunged the region into a dangerous cycle of retaliatory abductions & violence with far fetching "National Ramifications."

■Acknowledging that the NSCN-IM had deliberately orchestrated this Tangkhul-Kuki conflict, a fact definitively established by the Manipur Police investigation (17 march), the Ministrt of Home Affairs (Counter Terrorism & Counter Radicalization Division) characterizing the NSCN-IM as a "Terrorist Gang" issued an order declaring the incident a "Scheduled Offence" with "National Ramifications" & mandated the NIA to assume full control of the investigation to uncover the broader conspiracy.

🚨By doing so, the GoI elevated the case of the kidnapping & murder from a local law-and-order into the realm of National Security & Terrorism.

■On March 17, 2026, Ukhrul's SP, Babitarani Swain (IPS), submitted a formal investigative progress report to the DGP of Manipur. The Police investigation definitively established that the NSCN-IM planned & executed the abductions & Murders. Consequently, the state invoked anti-terror legislation, incorporating Sections 16, 18 & 20 of UAPA into the case.

■In July 2023, barely 70 days after the Violence in Manipur broke out, six people including an inspector of the Nagaland Police, an NSCN-IM leader & four others were arrested for stealing ammunition from the state police armoury. The ammunition looted was to be sent to neighbouring Manipur.

■In Aug 2023, H Khosiivei Lovingson Roah, a cadre of NSCN-IM confessed that the NSCN-IM was actively supplying Terrorist grades weapons to Meitei Terrorists groups in Imphal & also dispatching 15 well-trained NSCN(IM) fighters to Manipur to join the Meiteis in the fight against the Kukis.

■The Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM treated the tragedy of Manipur not as a humanitarian crisis to be avoided, but as a geopolitical target of opportunity. By financing Meitei Terrorists, deploying active combatants & fabricating ethnic flashpoints, they systematically sabotaged peace to advance a singular, treasonous agenda: prolonging regional bloodletting to build leverage for their stalling secessionist war against the Indian Union.

Since the outbreak of violence on 3rd May 2023, the people of Manipur have witnessed one of the most painful and prolonged humanitarian crises in recent history. The Kuki community has endured immense hardship, with many lives lost, thousands of families displaced from their ancestral homes, villages destroyed, places of worship damaged, and countless people forced to live in relief camps for an extended period. Even after years of suffering, many displaced families remain unable to return home and continue to live with uncertainty about their future.

The prolonged conflict has had a devastating impact on every aspect of daily life. Children have lost access to education, families have lost their livelihoods, farmers have been unable to cultivate their fields, businesses have collapsed, and many elderly people continue to suffer without adequate healthcare and basic necessities. Women, children, and other vulnerable members of society have carried a heavy burden throughout this crisis. The emotional trauma experienced by thousands of families continues to affect entire generations.

The continuing instability has also disrupted transportation, trade, healthcare, education, and economic activities across the hill districts. Communities continue to live under fear and uncertainty, hoping for a future where they can return to their homes, rebuild their lives, and live peacefully without insecurity.

The Kuki community respectfully appeals to the Government of India to ensure that every incident of violence is investigated impartially, that justice is delivered through due process of law, and that every citizen receives equal protection under the Constitution of India. We sincerely hope that meaningful steps will be taken to restore lasting peace, strengthen security, rehabilitate displaced families, rebuild destroyed villages, and create conditions where all communities can coexist with dignity, mutual respect, and without fear.

Despite the immense suffering endured over the past several years, the Kuki community continues to place its faith in the Constitution of India and the democratic institutions of the nation. We remain hopeful that under your leadership, the Government of India will take sincere and decisive steps toward a just, peaceful, and lasting solution that protects the lives, rights, dignity, and future of every citizen in Manipur.

‘Our forefathers gave them this land’

The Kuki settlement in Litan Sareikhong village, according to Naga accounts, dates to the 1940s.

“They forcibly settled here in the 1940s,” said Kasar, the village chief of Sikibung. The Naga village on top of a hill overlooks the Kuki village of Litan Sareikhong.

The Nagas claim that Sikibung has “jurisdiction” over Sareikhong.

I have no idea when Sareikhong dates to or Sikibung for that matter.

But what I do know, for certain, is that Sareikhong, Sikibung and Thawai were all Kuki villages in the 1940s. The Nagas have no rights here whatsoever! Ideally, they should leave this place and let the Kukis remain in peace.

Two patriots made the supreme sacrifice in an ambush laid by Tangkhul-led militants. While NSCN-IM (Hebron) has denied any involvement and instead blamed its own faction, NSCN-Eastern Flank, for the cowardly attack. ■The MHA issued an order declaring the incident a "Scheduled Offence" with "National Ramifications" & mandated the @NIA_India to assume full control of the investigation to uncover the broader conspiracy, thereby shifting the case of kidnapping & murder of Thengin & Thangboimang from a local law-and-order into the realm of national security & terrorism.

■In the wake of this brazen act of war & escalating cross-border terrorism, the Government of India must permanently terminate all peace negotiations with the NSCN-IM & formally re-designate it as a terrorist organization.
