I came to the topics I talk about in my videos through reading Sitchin's books but truth is more important than personality cults.

I'm not setting out to make a Sitchin hit piece here.
We can argue over his translations and credentials elswhere.

What's most interesting to me is WHY JE wanted to meet him. What was it about Sitchin's work that pinged his radar?

It's important to understand what these people were into and what narratives they felt needed pushing.

I'll be going deep into the agenda behind his work and we will see what we find on the other side.

An aspect of the Platonic Tradition that I’ve come to appreciate is the disagreement that exists among the most renowned philosophers.

When I first dove into the tradition, I found this to be somewhat disheartening, and like many Platonists do, I sought to reconcile the problem by attributing this observation to a misreading or a matter of semantics.

Yet, the more time went by, and as I continued to immerse myself in the tradition, the more obvious it became that this is a feature rather than a bug.

Is there are an overarching consensus among Platonists regarding fundamental aspects of reality? Most definitely.

Are Platonic positions supported by strong arguments that converge upon the same conclusions regarding these aspects of reality? Of course.

Does this mean Platonists are in full agreement regarding every single detail? Absolutely not, nor should we expect them be.

True philosophical pursuit is an approach to the Divine Mystery, rather than a strict set of unquestioned dogmas. Platonists are able to disagree with one another—especially when it comes to the finer points of our ontology—because the spirit of the tradition is one of humility and sincere orientation toward God.

We can admit that there are disagreements regarding the minutiae of transmigration, the descended vs undescended soul, theurgy vs contemplation, and even the seemingly untransgressable theory of the Henads. Moreover, we can even attempt to hash these out with a cooperative spirit without resorting to sectarianism and accusations of heresy.

This humility in Platonism is the result of recognizing our own ignorance in the face of Truth, and even our acknowledgment of the somewhat futile nature of trying to capture it in words.

What, after all, makes the Platonic Sages worthy of emulation? It’s not that “they had really good propositions”, but rather that they embodied the philosophical life; and their words serve as material impressions indicative of immaterial virtues, which are not known through writings but through union on the level of Being.

So while these disagreements are still up for debate, it does not obstruct good-spirited association, nor does it prevent us from approaching the altar together in sincere devotion. It is rather a sign of integrity and honesty regarding our own limitations.

The canon is open, and the corpus is perpetual—as it is a dialogue with that which is Eternal.
