No, you don’t spend anything on us.
The hospital exists independent of college.
AIIMS was created a hospital - not just for MBBS. Institutes like PGI don’t even have MBBS.
You can’t take health budget and divide by number of MBBS students and say we spend that much.
The budget for academics is 10% of entire budget of hospital.
If you spend - it’s 3-5L, not 30L/year.
And most govt colleges now already have 2-3L fees.
There is zero subsidy.

🧠 सच्चाई क्या है?

कोर्स - सरकारी खर्च (लगभग / छात्र)

IIT / NIT इंजीनियर ₹25–40 लाख

IIM मैनेजमेंट. ₹20–35 लाख

AIIMS / MBBS. ₹30–35 लाख

(NLU) / LLB. ₹10–20 लाख

Govt Arts/ Science कॉलेज
₹6–10 लाख

सरकार सिर्फ़ MBBS पर नहीं,

क्योंकि डॉक्टर बोलते नहीं —
इलाज करते हैं।

डॉक्टर समाज के ऋणी नहीं,

The salary of non-academic Junior Residents in Bihar has been fixed at ₹65,000 since 2019. As per the norms, it is supposed to be revised every three years, but unfortunately, even after all these years, the amount has remained unchanged.
We humbly request the Health Department of Bihar to kindly take immediate steps to revise and raise the salary of non-academic Junior Residents, in line with due revisions and the increasing workload and responsibilities.
This is not just a financial issue but also a matter of justice and recognition for the hard work and dedication of non-academic JRs who serve tirelessly in the healthcare system of Bihar.

I was also a young practitioner 20 yrs back. My salary 4 yrs after DM Neurology (2004) was Rs 9000/month. This was 16 yrs after joining MBBS. At CMC Vellore, by observing my professors, I realized that doctor's life should be frugal & learnt to live with bare minimum.
