In Odisha, 95% of the population belongs to a reserved category.

SC: 17%. ST: 23%. SEBC/OBC: ~55%.

The remaining 5%? Brahmins and Karanas. That's it. That is the entire "general category" in Odisha.

Now here is the part nobody talks about.

The Khandayats, traditional Kshatriyas of Odisha, descendants of the great warriors who built the Gajapati Empire, one of the most powerful medieval kingdoms in India, are classified as SEBC. Backward class. They get reservation.

The community that produced the rulers of Odisha for centuries is "backward."

Brahmins are much weaker politically, socially, economically and numerically. Yet they are the ones excluded from every welfare scheme, every quota, every government benefit.

95% of Odisha competes for 50% of seats, jobs, and benefits reserved for them.

5% competes for the other 50%, open to all.

The Supreme Court's Indra Sawhney judgment capped reservation at 50% assuming the general category was a large population competing on merit. In Odisha, that "general category" is 5% of people.

This is not affirmative action. This is not social justice.

When 95% of a population receives state benefits denied to the remaining 5%, there is a word for that.

It is called discrimination and apartheid.

What exactly is an E20-compliant vehicle? By definition, it's a vehicle engineered to safely and reliably run on E20 fuel. That also implies a non-E20-compliant vehicle is not designed for E20. Otherwise, the term "compliant" becomes meaningless.

So my question to Mr. @nitin_gadkari is simple: Why was E20 fuel rolled out nationwide when most vehicles on Indian roads were not E20-compliant?

If the answer is, "Nothing happens. Non-compliant vehicles can also run on E20," then what was the rationale behind mandating manufacturers to produce E20-compliant vehicles in the first place? Either E20 compatibility is technically necessary, in which case introducing E20 before the vehicle fleet was ready was questionable. Or it isn't necessary, in which case the compliance requirement itself appears redundant.

You can't simultaneously argue that E20 compliance is important enough to mandate for new vehicles, yet claim it doesn't matter because older, non-compliant vehicles can run on E20 anyway.

By the same logic, why stop at E20? Why not go full aatm-nirbhar and switch directly to E100? If compatibility doesn't matter, then non-E100-compliant vehicles should run on E100 too. Clearly, that's not how engineering works. So where exactly is the technical justification?

Zakir didn’t name anyone, didn’t insult anyone. He simply pointed out what everyone can already see, that Dhurandhar’s success has made a few people uncomfortable.

If a simple joke hurts this much, then maybe the insecurity is real. Instead of reacting like this, maybe take it in the spirit it was delivered in.

If there is still any sensible voice left in the party, they should be asking what exactly posts like these achieve, apart from a few laughs from people who already support Congress.

Is the party so drained of real public issues that this is what its official communication has been reduced to? How does this level of trolling hurt BJP or Modi in any meaningful way? It only exposes a leadership with no plan, no ideas, no goals, and no hope, so all that remains is to troll.
