That is the most ridiculous excuse ever. I have used taxi services in many places, Guwahati is undoubtedly the worst because of this.

They are unprofessional and 99% of the riders ask the fare and demand more money. Strict action should be taken

An electric bulb or a book for a student is equally important as there is no other means to get items in complete lockdown. They are also a much safer option as it avoids people to go out for all day to day things.

@DeputyJorhat @CMOfficeAssam @keshab_mahanta Please allow the deliveries by ecommerce as an essential medium. At least by the vaccinated delivery boys. When all the shops are closed, it is the only medium to get our things delivered at home with safety. It also avoids people to go out to shop

@DeputyJorhat Please give strict rules regarding vaccination to shopkeepers, delivery persons, taxi drivers etc who are the point of contact for many. Whenever vaccine is available, they should be given vaccine and they should compulsorily paste a vaccine certificate on their shop.
