@lain_calvo If they're interested in short-term support to keep momentum while they look for an internal hire, my company Plank provides AI-native engineering services. https://t.co/p26oGnz75Q
I'm excited to announce that @mercor_ai is acquiring @deeptuneai.
While Mercor is the largest RL Environments company, Deeptune is the top vendor to Frontier Labs for the apps that make those environments work.
The barrier to automating everything you do on your laptop with Claude or ChatGPT is covering the full distribution of apps, worlds, and tasks across the economy.
Mercor's talent network has enabled us to lead the industry in scaling up the production of worlds and tasks. Deeptune is the best at the apps. Together, we make the best environments in the world.
I couldn't be more thrilled to work with @timlupo and the entire Deeptune team.
Claude thinks in its J-space! Claude has developed a small collection of internal neural patterns that, compared to all its other internal processing, play a special role. This seems to be a pivotal mechanism in how it thinks. Super cool!

For the First Time, a Cell Built From Scratch Grows and Divides!
So cool - I can't wait to see computers created with biological building blocks.

@stripe your customer service AI agent is not connected to your own database! I am on the Stripe Atlas page that has the new entity setup info. And the agent is pretending to be totally clueless. Have you considered connecting it via MCP to the DB ? It should be able to get this info automatically. Is this chatbot pre-LLM era?
This was beautiful to read - the joy of understanding how something works, reverse engineering a piece of software or debugging something for hours and the joy of "figuring it out" is something that might become a lost art in the decades to come.
I feel this will cause us to spend a lot more time introspecting - what do we really want, dig into the motivations behind our want and the guardrails around what are we ok with.

How will society function when mind-reading devices are built into your glasses and phones? I am thinking of starting to train my mind to "think" in an encoded language that I come up with. But then again, LLMs can likely decipher that too!

AWS releases MicroVMs - run isolated sandboxes. Excited to try this - I hope they don't run into AWS Lambda cold start issues. You get virtual machine level isolation, near-instant launch and resume, and direct control over environment lifecycle and state.

Robbie Coomber from @posthog rewrote PostHog's SQL parser using multiple long-running Claude Code sessions in parallel. The result was 16K lines of "hand"-rolled parser code, 5K lines of tooling, a few more K of tests, and a ~70x speed up! Thats awesome. There really is no excuse to not ask Claude or Codex to optimize your codebase. Of course it requires providing the right evals and harness so that it has a way to measure correctness in an objective way.
Also I love that they have a formal declarative grammar for the parser using ANTLR .g4 format.

Really curious how this shapes up. Meta is sitting on a great asset with WhatsApp.
- should be the main customer service interface for SMBs (voice first)
- should become the main sales channel
- build in the payments rails, move upstream to other fintech use cases like BNPL
- unleash an App Store on WhatsApp - the API should be free
- business document storage (it’s crazy that even hospitals use it to share sensitive docs)
And most of all, it’s an opportunity to become the main AI buddy for consumers.
