@appliedquant As of now, haven't looked. MTdna can be tricky though. Example: Hasanlu_IA_o is 100% from here (SCA) with J1a2a1-Z2360 male line and mtdna R2+13500. This mtdna is prevalent in India but split times are large and hard to tell when it entered India.
@appliedquant Funny thing is there is no ancient sample in this line between 3600bce to 100bce. This lineage could have been anywhere from south central asia to South asia at that time period.
@beaker_the12224@Ugra___ Ignore that not enough data to conclude anything but do comment on my latest post as you know more about Euro part...Ryazan-Oka cultural group that R2 Sarmatian_IA like sample from Akbari2026
@02percent_@SR1_aryan Yes we haven't sampled even 1% of actual population that belonged to these communities.
In Akbari2026 we found Samples with sarmatian like ancestry but R2-M124 (Zagrosian) Y lineage which was also found in goth context in Europe earlier and among modern English men.
@02percent_@SR1_aryan Pamiri languages are related to Khotanese (Saka) rather than Sogdian. Yagnobhi language is related to Sogdian.
Also some Pamiri carry decent amount of south asian ancestry.
