The great Śaiva polymath Śrī Abhinavagupta of the Trika Kaula tradition in Kashmir teaches,

यथारघट्टचक्राग्रघटीयन्त्रौघवाहनम् ॥
एकानुसंधियत्नेन चित्रं यन्त्रोदयं भजेत् ।
एकानुसंधानबलाज् जाते मन्त्रोदये ऽनिशम् ॥
तन्मन्त्रदेवता यत्नात्तादात्म्येन प्रसीदति ।

"A water wheel moves a series of machines for raising water located in front of it and so possesses the varied emergent activity of the machines (it sets into operation) by its single unified exertion.

Similarly, when Mantras arise by the strength of a single one pointed and continuous application of attention and intention, the deity of those mantras, because it is at one with them, becomes propitious by virtue of that exertion."

Mathematics, even in the modern era, has largely been propelled by the "Great Man Theory". Mathematically brilliant but otherwise ordinary individuals like Srinivasa Ramanujan, Terence Tao, Maryam Mirzakhani, Manjul Bhargava, Grigory Perelman, etc. are elevated to superhero status, and the subjects of books and movies.

Physics used to be propelled by the Great Man Theory. Galileo, Newton, Einstein, Curie, Feynman, and even a mediocre project manager like Oppenheimer became legendary figures. Today however, major developments in physics are done by large teams. Papers from CERN and LIGO sometimes have hundreds of co-authors. There is no "legendary" physicist anymore. There are no legendary biologists any more either, except for bigots like Richard Dawkins and Nathan Cofnas, who are not really biologists. Nor are there any "great men" in chemistry. Yet these fields progress via teamwork and grit.

In the GenAI era, math will go the same way as physics, chemistry and biology. The era of the "great man" is over. Large teams augmented with increasingly powerful GenAI agents are the future of pure math.

Padayani ritual art is considered as equivalent of Theyyam in southern Kerala, primarily performed by warriors (പട) in the past who mostly belonged to Nair community.

Many subcontinental people of Islamic backgrounds, like Mamdani, fit right in with them. They have this parcelled MENA/subcon food culture, which they eat in "brotherhood" together (a great communal virtue!) on Styrofoam plates during their protests. Like they were on a picnic ;)
