CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have withdrawn their plea in the Delhi High Court.

Not because they lost.
The court asked their lawyer to consider filing an appeal instead of a writ, so they withdrew and the court said it has formed no opinion on the merits.

Now remember why they're even inside:

> They protested against SIR at Jantar Mantar
> They raised slogans against CEC Gyanesh Kumar
> Arrested on Oct 13
> 5 days of custody, then 2 more
> Fresh sureties submitted, and as per their counsel, the SEM didn't even call them

Think about it for a second.

No violence. No riot. Just a flag, a slogan and a question about voter lists.

And the system's answer is "peace bond violated, stay in jail."

UP SIR : One person submitted Form-6 TEN times. Don’t @ceoup and @ECISVEEP have a system to flag and stop duplicate applications? Is this really so difficult for @TCS to implement?
In several other cases (as mentioned in the X thread below), people submitted three-four Form-6 applications, and the EC issued three-four different EPIC IDs to the same person.

Hello @ceoup, They reason you are giving now for not taking action against Bulk deletion form submission : "The ECI has issued instructions on this subject on 9th October, 2026 and The SIR in UP was over on 10th April, 2026"
But the declaration on Form7 reads.. "I HEREBY DECLARE that to the best of my knowledge and belief that I am aware that making a statement or declaration which is false and which I know or believe to be false or do not believe to be true, is punishable under Section 31 of Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950) with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine or with both."

So when is the ARO/AERO/CEO taking action against individual submitting bulk deletion form-7s? @ECISVEEP @SpokespersonECI
