Both my wrists still hurt, and I’m having trouble with handwriting now. I have another dental appointment on Friday, and I guarantee you I will NOT be bringing the AirFanta. I will just deal with possible covid infection. This is not sustainable.
There has to be systemic change re clean air. It can’t be only for the wealthy. My hands and wrists are still paying the price for holding the AirFanta to my face for 3 hours at Columbia Dental. Each morning now, I have tingling in my hands for hours. #LongCovid#CleanAir
Clean air for the rich! Do they have OCD? Of course not, only middle class and lower class people who are airborne aware have OCD if they are still masking and using hepa filters to clean the air! When the rich do it, it’s something different. For them, their mitigations during
I have this weird, fucked up tingling in my hands and fingers when I wake up every morning for the past several weeks. It’s not going away. So I know that I’m going to have to go back to my GP soon. That and my nails splitting terribly.
I’m feeling so terrible today. Every day is a roll of the dice with #LongCovid. Some days I feel almost fine. Other days, like today, it’s just agony all day. Extreme, extreme exhaustion. I haven’t had normal ability to digest foods in almost 5 yrs. It’s an amazing new norm.
I can still exercise, in a very compromised way, though, and I’m very thankful for that. Taking the Symbicort inhaler once every day—taking it regularly, as opposed to trying to take it as little as possible—has helped with my stamina. No “recovery” coming my way, though.
I cannot believe that we entered the “bring back childhood disease” chapter in American history.
Logic and reason are just two more casualties of the covid pandemic.
RIP, along side some of the children.
I've come to believe that the conversation online about #LongCovid, save the community of truth tellers I've come to know, is corrupt.
100% corrupt.
The research is corrupt.
The advocacy is corrupt.
The media coverage is corrupt.
There are even things I've learned that I cannot speak publicly about that prove I've reached the proper conclusion.
I even proved what they said previously about being hacked was false.
They admit they were never hacked in the past...but the posts remain.
Apparently - I am guilty of 'semantics' and 'pointless discussions'.
The fact is, they generated a lot of sympathy for what was untrue.
And this dude does all this while he has me blocked - gutless bullshitter:
At the skatepark, in the space of 2 weeks, one woman mentions 2 people in her life who now have vascular dementia. I’ve tried to educate people re covid, but I’m kind of burnt out on it. My motto for now: FUCK AROUND AND FIND OUT. IM DONE. #LongCovid
A woman in my circle, mid 50s caught Covid a few years ago, experiencing fatigue and heart damage. Though her doctor actually told her she had LC, she didn’t take it seriously and unmasked. After being reinfected last year, she had a stroke and doctors discovered she also had a brain embolism. A few weeks later, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Following cancer surgery, another test revealed two holes in her heart. Surgery repaired those holes, but she still doesn’t mask 😷
Covid is a vascular bomb 💣
@Virus2Host@Lizzardo77 I’m sorry. I also had a bad reaction to Novovax. But I may have been simultaneously infected. I’ll never know. Still, I’m sticking with Pfizer, I think. Novovax left me with terrible neuroinflammation for 3 months.
I’ve found this to be the case. I would like to be proven wrong. It’s not fun having no options living with #LongCovid. Just yesterday, after getting stressed, I had to deal with being tachychardic (HR at 158) for hours.
I’ve been a patient with @UWMedicine#LongCovid clinic since its inception.
They have very little to nothing to offer.
It’s my belief that #LongCovid clinics were set up in order to gather epidemiological data that informed the government’s strategy to normalize “living with COVID” and the section of that, the burial of #LongCovid itself.
It looks like @PeterHotez deleted his original post. Why? I’m not a fake account. I’m a real person suffering with LC for nearly 5 years. I now have stage 3B CKD from covid reinfections…
I’m genuinely curious as to what “academic health centers” have to offer. What do they have to offer, @PeterHotez? I live in the NYC area. There are lots of institutions around me. I’ve been living with LC for almost 5 years. What is there for people with LC?
an ongoing pandemic is perfectly acceptable, but when the rest of us do it and suggest others take the same measures, we’re “cultists” “suffering from OCD” “obsessed” etc. Interesting how that works eh?! #CleanAirForAll#CleanAirInSchools#MaskUp
This!!! 💯. I noticed this in buildings when I went to Williamsburg, NYC, over the summer. No masks because there’s actual air filtration in the buildings. #LongCovid
