Keeping their memory alive & tradition going.
This year our 7yo & 10yo granddaughter's wore dad's WW2 medals & my great uncle's WW1 medals at our little town's @anzacday march. Very proud.
Today it is my privilege to honour those who have given military service 🇦🇺🇳🇿 Fittingly, the @RoyalAustMint has launched a new coin this @anzacday to commemorate the contribution of indigenous Australian service men and women. https://t.co/JHKMucynx6
"Aboriginal people fought alongside other people, they fought all together... They were all men together, because they all come from the same country."
Legacy of Indigenous soldiers lives on in the Pilbara.

This morning I took part in the Anzac Day Dawn Service in Balmain.
It was a solemn service as we remember all those who have served, those who serve still, and those who laid down their life for their mates.
Lest We Forget.
#AnzacDay
They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.

As Australia and New Zealand mark #AnzacDay on Sunday, we pay tribute to all the men and women in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served and died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
This #AnzacDay we come together in person and in spirit to commemorate the Men and Women who have served, and continue to serve Our Nation. #LestWeForget
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
