I don’t know if the government of @OfficialAPCNg knows how annoying this idea of palliatives is to sensible Nigerians. A country without a central database for births and deaths! Why not give 4% per annum interest loans to existing businesses (with 12 months moratorium) that want to go into production using the @bankofindustry and remove all import duties on tools and machineries. Provide power subsidies to factories 🏭 and production centers/clusters. Run a lean government and do the above and see the magic happen! It’s not a rocket science. #EndBadGovernanceProtest

To the ADC,

Did you issue an acceptance or rejection? A serious opposition always, & I mean ALWAYS make tbe government in power uncomfortable.

THAT’S YOUR ONE & ONLY JOB!

They don’t have to like it, but that’s the very nature of opposition. When they cough? You talk. They sneeze? You raise the temperature.

Without mandatory e-transmission written into the Constitution, you cannot remove the APC.

Your name is literally “Opposition,” you OPPOSE! You are in the ring, you box them into a corner. You cut off their oxygen tank. That’s what the Democrats do here everyday. It is what Aunty Kemi is doing over there in the UK.

Those gaslighting you to offer alternative ideas, & not just oppose, are uninformed & phony.

As Opposition, your one & only business is to throw the APC out, & implement the solutions yourselves. Thinking you could defeat the APC by mere online statements is a huge mistake.

The APC of (2014/2015) would have lined up a Nobel Laureate, Daddy GOs, Imams, & CSOs on the streets of Nigeria. They would have scaled the fence of the National Assembly by now.

Thinking that Nigerians are going to simply vote for you because they have suffered enough, is a miscalculation. Nigerians are not that advanced yet. Many still need someone to think for them, act on their behalf, & tell them what to do.

People who are hungry don’t exactly think straight. The APC understands hunger as a weapon of conquest. You are dealing with a largely deprived & defeated population.

So I am expecting more from you guys.

By now, you should be mounting pressure on INEC to declare its position on e-transmission.

You should be mounting pressure on the umpire to justify their whopping ₦1.01 trillion budget. As you haven’t done that, INEC may as well deliver something less ₦313.4 billion glitch.

I see no synergy in your camp, it’s as if everyone is operating in silos, trying to outwit one another. By now, you should have decided on whom to rally behind, even before your primary. It would have afforded others the time they need for post-election healing process.

I don't believe that violence is a means to any social end. But the endpoint of any intellectual debate is one party calling the other a Nazi.

So it depends on the side you’re on.

I am not a loser, I don’t exactly intend to end up on the losing side. The situation in Nigeria is dire, it has reached a fever pitch, & something drastic needs to be done. I’m not a terraformer, I would have conjured a powerful spell to transform Nigeria back to its original state.

So as much as I would love to help, it’s up to you guys now. You are the last defense against evil, the profane many Nigerians don’t even know it exists. It’s up to you to find a way.

Leaving everything up in the air could further create suspicion & acrimony, seen & unseen.

At this stage? You shouldn’t leave things open to group interpretation, people may believe their own ideas. You are not the ruling party, you don’t posses the instruments of coercion.

Then again, your gentlemanly opposition could turn out to be your greatest undoing. In fact, your first sin. Underestimating Bola Tinubu is the second. A man who would rather see Nigeria burn to rule over its ashes, should not be treated with kid gloves. But what do I know?
