@andycaomhanach@cleaverslips That's why I used a VPN to watch it on Disney. Hopefully by the time the show returns they'll have sorted streaming access for Ireland.
@TheCyberdevil If they do that then us in Ireland will lose all access to BBC content as iPlayer is not available here. I'd pay to access it but we can't. They've also geolocked their YouTube stuff too. I'll be keeping my VPN...
@WilliamWho27 US only... no surprise. No news about the rest of the world?? Can't stream a single episode where I am not even on Disney. I'll be keeping my VPN subscription then
@WilliamWho27 I'd be first in line to subscribe to an international BBC streaming service - I can't stream a single episode of DW where I am - not even on Disney. They even blocked Unleashed on YouTube for us as well.
@WilliamWhoDW What little streaming we had in Ireland (only Season 1) was removed last month. No sign of Season 2 or anything else. Currently can't stream any episode at all (we can't even stream Unleashed on YT - BBC blocked it). Not expecting to get access to back catalogue ever.
@copland_v2@drborgle Yep, we're the only country in Europe that cannot stream a single episode. That's why I got a VPN just so I could watch it on Disney.
@aoushawkins @torchsattorney And apparently the BBC are planning on switching off their TV stations in the next 10 years so we'll be left with no access (TV or streaming) at all.
@chris_brunk@tableprintdoor@TharriesYT Yeah, I had assumed Disney was blocked as we have the UK's Disney library but YouTube doesn't work like that so it seems the BBC are deliberately excluding us from any streaming access. I have a VPN so I'm grand but not everyone has the money or know-how to use one.
@BrokenSerenity @Zubatman56 @TharriesYT Yeah, I'm only in Ireland and have zero streaming access. And when the BBC switch off their TV stations (around 2035) we'll be really snookered! Thank God for VPNs!
@tableprintdoor@TharriesYT 3? Try having no streaming options at all! Currently using a VPN to stream on Disney. Not looking forward to BBC switching off their TV stations which would leave me with no legal options at all (bar DVDs).
@Tony33454355@BadWolfArchives I went and got a VPN this year as I was sick of having no streaming options. Now I can watch it on Disney! Hope it adds to the viewing figures. And since I heard that the BBC will be turning off their TV stations I'll be keeping the VPN.
@WilliamWhoDW I was sick of having to avoid spoilers that I went and got a VPN for this year's episodes as I have no streaming access. Wouldn't have that problem if the streaming and the TV broadcast were on at the same time.
