Affordable housing cannot become a cover for land grabbing.
The Auditor General has flagged projects built on public and community land without proper ownership records, legal processes, or public participation. Kenyans deserve answers.
I have formally demanded a Senate inquiry. Public land is not for plunder. Accountability must come before construction. #StopLandGrabbing #ReKe
We live in a very interesting country. The controller of Budget reports that Treasury took a loan on behalf of KPLC to lay cables in the CBD.
KPLC stated that they were not aware of such a loan.

Irungu Kang'ata: Kenya is not a poor country. It is a paradox. We grow at five to six per cent annually, yet jobs are scarce. We build highways, yet factories remain few. We educate millions, yet export labour instead of products. Like the biblical fig tree that Jesus cursed, we have leaves of promise but no fruit of prosperity. The problem lies in the structure, not the effort. https://t.co/Y0sSva1rxx

The message here is; You cannot bypass Kenya’s minimum KCSE requirements for Medicine (MBChB) by enrolling in a foreign university. The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) will not license you upon graduation if you didn’t meet the entry criteria locally. The only viable path then is to remain and practise in the foreign country where you trained.

Kenya's Pharmacy and Poison Board picks the middle-ground position.
Safe enough not to infuriate the USA FDA, and safe enough not to infuriate manufacturers of paracetamol.
In summary, this is what they are saying:
• Yes, there is a link between Paracetamol and neuropsychiatric conditions in babies.
• But, we are also not sure!
• Don't take paracetamol, unless prescribed by a medic. — and only when necessary.
Yes! That is a good start.
Now, they should ban the sale of paracetamol in retail shops because the reckless consumption and self-medication of Panadol is unacceptable.
