Eunwoo’s IG post:
This is Cha Eunwoo
I sincerely apologize to my fans and many others for the disappointment and confusion caused by the recent tax controversy surrounding me.
As various administrative procedures were ongoing, I had no choice but to be cautious about making a statement, and I also apologize for the delay in speaking up because of that.
Though late, I would like to share my thoughts and position directly, even now.
I respect the procedures and findings of the National Tax Service, and I have paid all relevant taxes to prevent any further confusion. I will also faithfully fulfill the remaining procedures.
Having carried out my activities with the love and support of so many people, I am taking this matter very seriously and with great weight. If there were areas I failed to look after carefully, the responsibility lies entirely with me. I will not use excuses like "I didn't know" or "it was someone else's decision" to avoid accountability.
During a period of various changes and confusion in my career, I established a corporation in the process of preparing to continue my activities more stably — but looking back now, there were areas I failed to examine carefully, and I believe the responsibility for that lies with me, not my family or my company.
Through this incident, I felt deeply that I need to take a hard look at myself. Above all, I am most heartbroken and sorry that I have disappointed the fans who believed in me and everyone at Aroha.
To ensure the same issue does not repeat itself, I will review all aspects of my future activities with greater care and stricter standards.
I will work harder and harder to become a Cha Eun-woo who takes full responsibility for his choices and actions to the end.
Once again, I convey my deepest apologies.
Thank you for reading this long post
