The reason why an influential number never speaks against reservation openly and aggressively is that they fear of getting labeled "casteist" more than anything.
Two mid celebrities spoke against reservation recently and both were bullied and harassed by reservation supporters into deleting those posts.
Indians are indoctrinated so heavily in last 4-5 generations that they are willingly self censoring their own voices and accepting loss of education, career & life of their children instead of getting labeled for speaking for their human rights and this is something which supporters of reservation know very well. So they throw label of "you are casteist" at the drop of a hat because they know your fear. They call you casteist for wearing your religious thread, for going to your temple, for eating paneer, for having an AC in your house, for scoring more marks and so on. Your existence is casteism for them. I was called casteist for posting an ice cream photo in the night.
We need to end this fear.
