@LUDENClassics For anyone that drives an EV, they know BP chargers are utterly useless. 170ish miles on a full charge going off your figures is about right if ‘normal driving’ is sitting at around 75-80mph.

@badge55950 @AutoPap Nah, they’re cool for what they are. First car I’ve personally owned that *isn’t* an Alfa. Nippy, chuck-able, practical and cheap as chips to run. Almost 40k miles covered in 2 years for less than £1500.

If you’re getting a 159 be careful it hasn’t got a rotted subframe, and get the 1.75 turbo 👍🏽

@Seancockram I mean, any used vs new car comparison will always favour the used car.

You could get a used EV for not much, and the fuel cost would be around 8x lower than the diesel at 50mpg. Of course there are nuances to the situation.

@hjwakerley 18k miles in 12 months in mine, it retired the Giulia QF from daily duties and it’s saved me around £4500 in fuel cost. I do a fair few motorway trips so 4.0-4.2mi/kWh average but I’m happy with that. Hoot to drive on a B-road, too.
