When I transitioned from the classroom to ed consulting, I quickly realized that, as teachers, we’re so quick to settle & compromise.
And this led to an important lesson:
You can’t negotiate your worth to folx if you don’t believe you’re worthy of being in the negotiation room.
Energized after co-facilitating workshops for committed educators from an independent school. Deep discussions on systemic oppression and facilitating affinity groups led to vulnerability, reflection & calls to action. I look forward to continued partnership! @talking4_change
