This series has never been marketed as a ‘dark romance’ one and I am genuinely embarrassed that I have gotten two of my friends to start this series.

@latesolstice completely felt this… it felt so disjointed and the writing didn’t flow at all - i felt like i had to read several passages multiple times and i still couldn’t quite figure out what was happening / what was meant to be coming across to the reader you know.

I am so utterly uninterested in wondering when Guy will show up again, and theorising when Audrey will accept that she was assaulted - and wondering if that will be her arc in her girl squad book. That’s not the series I signed up for, and I have no interest taking part in it.

The saddest thing about the LL leaks is how they’ve irrevocably shifted the entire tone of the series. I don’t want to listen to a “Charlie Cobalt in Loathed Love” podcast where KBR are laughing & reminiscing about scenes knowing that rape is the major force driving the book.
