Just one day after ending "The Late Show" on CBS, Stephen Colbert returned to TV โ to host a public access show with rocker Jack White in Monroe, Michigan.
Appearances by Jeff Daniels, Eminem and Steve Buscemi.
@flickamad@RogerbrownWoW@NerfTankTV Crazy that you think the RWF is for 40 people. Not only are there many other guilds that beat these bosses in the HoF, but hundreds of thousands of viewers love the race and enjoy participating as fans. Why do you feel that shouldn't get any "special" treatment?
@ZooL_Smith Maybe for other games but for CS it's hard to agree on this one. Apex is more arcade style, has a much larger TTK and is less sensitive to inaccuracies which allows more client based feedback. Players aren't going to question how they died when it takes a full clip to kill them.
@ioiocs2@pglesports If your team cant beat college players doing this while studying you don't really deserve the spot do you. Our region losing credibility every day because of weak mental like this. Maybe lock in and stop feeling sorry for yourself.
@GherkinAA@lucyluce_ Valve tends to be quite penny wise and pound foolish, we're still reeling from many of the larger changes they've made that weren't walked back.
@GherkinAA@lucyluce_ Calling it undeveloped completely misses what makes the game so timeless and rewarding. The more mechanics you add the less emphasis there is on fundamental expertise and the more variability comes into play.
Here's my conversation with Jeff Kaplan, a legendary Blizzard game designer of World of Warcraft and Overwatch, which are two of the biggest, most influential games ever made. Jeff is one of the most genuine & awesome human beings I've ever met: kind, thoughtful, hilarious, and still & forever a gamer through and through.
This was a truly fun & inspiring conversation. We talk about it all: the lows, the highs, the memes, the details of the game design process, and the new game he's been secretely working on: The Legend of California. I got a chance to play the game with Jeff, and it's incredibly beautiful (and fun). You can wishlist it on Steam now. I can't wait to play it with all of you!
Conversation is here on X in full and is up everywhere else (see comment).

Wow! Today officially marks the 20-Year Anniversary of when we launched our first game, Star Wars: Empire at War, with @LucasfilmGames (LucasArts)!
We're happy to report that it still has thousands of daily players, our amazing Modders keep modding, and it has 97% on Steam!

@Z0Boog @Aernath@PandaTVoce I think it was definitely fun and gave more reason to play LFR and stuff, but shouldn't be the only option, mixing the upgrade system and rng is ideal probably.
