#Pune This was a great project when announced first in 2017, by the MH CM @Dev_Fadnavis... One of the first few PPP metro lines in the country.
A critical project for Hinjawadi connectivity - one of India's largest IT clusters with over $5 billion software exports and over 200,000 people working there.
Unfortunately the project has moved very slowly. Will soon hit the 10 year milestone with nothing started on the ground.
Requesting your priority attention, @CMOMaharashtra!
“Missing Link”
Important point is, change the name before the PR begins; for the uninitiated it coveys the route is “NOT LINKED”.

@cIndraneel@ameya4mPune@ChitaleBandhu Indraneel, one interesting observation from work meeting where always I carry goodies from the store.
“Alepaak wadi” has been a super hit, colleagues from Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru have loved it. They have never tested anything like it.
My observation is these situations are peculiarly on metro routes. During the planning or execution, no one bothered about drainage points after the installation of prefab cement road dividers.
This is the state of Pune's arterial road with 30 min rains.
And our leaders talk of 5000 Cr River Front Devp, London Eye, Bharat Mandapam etc.
Do they know a bit of urban planning?
Are they really aware of the common man's needs?
DO THEY REALLY CARE FOR THE CITY?
@suchetadalal
@aparanjape@OfficialPMRDA@Dev_Fadnavis@SidShirole What about the road surface, pavements, curbs and dividers impacted underneath the whole line? Who’s responsible for the mess created in last 6 years.
@aparanjape Visited this place recently during an event organised by ARAI called ADASshow. This shall become an important event in coming years. The facility has just been opened.
A welcome step in right direction.
Highest NOTA in Ward 9, indicative of resentment on all accounts, traffic, encroachment, road connectivity, safety. But in the end who benefited? Will the powers that matter look into this and address the issues?
Hope to now see #Pune and greater Pune getting its well deserved infrastructure with these results.
Hopefully no excuses left.
Priorities should be
Road Connectivity, Footpath Encroachments, Safety, Discipline, Traffic.
Dear @AdityaDharFilms as a genuine fan of your “Dhurandhar” work, reporting an Easter egg. 🙈
During the scene of a fake note being inspected by Ajay Sanyal, the scanner appears to have a “Make In India Lion Emblem”.
