One man.
25 transfers.
21 years.
Still standing.
Every time Tukaram Munde takes charge, the same question is asked:
"How long before he's transferred again?"
Maybe that's because honest officers often make too many powerful people uncomfortable.
Since becoming Maharashtra's FDA Commissioner, the department has suddenly come alive. Raids are no longer symbolic they're relentless.
🚨 Synthetic milk rackets exposed.
🚨 Banned gutkha networks busted.
🚨 Adulterated food seized.
🚨 Unlicensed manufacturers stopped.
🚨 Restaurants & food businesses violating basic hygiene norms facing action.
🚨 Crores worth of illegal products seized, hundreds of raids conducted, and hundreds arrested in statewide enforcement drives.
What's remarkable isn't just the number of raids.
It's the change in mindset.
For the first time in a long time, businesses cutting corners are worried that the FDA might actually show up.
That's what real governance looks like not loud speeches, but visible enforcement.
You may agree or disagree with Tukaram Munde's style.
But it's hard to ignore the impact of an officer who has been transferred around 25 times in 21 years and still chooses duty over convenience.
Maharashtra doesn't need more headlines.
It needs more officers who make the law matter.
🇮🇳 He deserves to be head of FSSAI
Because whole India deserve good food
Respect. We get honest officers once in century
The Prime Minister made a reel saying he “forgives” the students for their actions and mistakes.
Forgives them for what? For asking for their rights? For demanding fairness?
A true leader would apologize to the students for allowing the police to beat them-not expect an apology from them.
That is leadership. That is democracy.
KSRTC's courier service, once a backbone of its non-ticket revenue, has also come to a standstill. Introduced during the LDF government's tenure, the project generated more than ₹5 crore in revenue through operations across 48 depots in the state. According to employees, it is the negligence of the UDF government that has pushed the scheme into decline.

Tukaram Mundhe has done more in 2 months for food safety standards and awareness in Maharashtra than anyone else has in more than 2 decades.
The least he deserves is the unconditional support of the people for whom he is doing everything.
The UDF government has adopted an anti-democratic approach, showing no hesitation in resorting to arbitrary actions. Without even holding discussions with police personnel, the government has moved ahead with unilateral decisions. The Kerala High Court's order in the Police Association case is a major setback for Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, and the UDF government, all of whom spearheaded these actions.

My messsage to the most Hon'ble PM shri @narendramodi ji.
Sir, i have been very decent in my discourse. My opposition to the mandatory E20 blending policy has been a factual one.
Respected PM sir, on one hand you encourage your ministers, MPs to join Instagram on the other hand my account is suspended when it is trending.
I leave this to your judgement.
With humility, I will continue to fight within the walls of decency and within democratic means .

CPIM MP @JohnBrittas speaking in Rajya Sabha: "Fear has lost its voice due to the protest of the students of Jantar Mantar; Courage has regained its voice! This agitation has grown beyond the questions raised by our children; we have begun reclaiming democracy."
"You cannot solve the tears of these children with tear gas. You cannot break their determination with pellets. You cannot suppress them with chili bombs or nail studded lathis! Let us understand that they have the courage and boldness to take on anyone. Don't belittle them, don't insult them, and don't humiliate them."

BREAKING : LoP Rahul Gandhi is now going after the most dangerously powerful person in India
“There is so much hype in the media about Amit Shah, but he couldn’t gather courage to face me in the Parliament
AMIT SHAH NEEDS TO RESIGN” 🔥
RaGa is not stopping nor hesitating.
I fully back the demand of Rahul Gandhi that Home Minister Amit Shah must go.
If Amit Shah ordered the lathi charge, he is culpable and if he has not, he is incompetent.
This is exactly what I have saying on TV debates
@RahulGandhi
The reduction in the Plan Fund allocated to local self-government institutions by UDF Government, in the revised Budget has placed their development activities under severe strain. In protest against this decision, all Corporation and Municipal Councillors across Kerala will march to the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram under the leadership of the LDF on 30 July. The programme will be inaugurated by Leader of the Opposition Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan. The march will begin at 10:00 a.m. from the Palayam Martyrs' Memorial. This will be followed by marches to all panchayats across the state on 1 and 3 August, led by elected representatives and members of the public.

The illegal attempt by the Delhi Police to enter the CPI(M) Headquarters, AKG Bhavan, to arrest SFI leader Aishe Ghosh is a dangerous assault on democratic norms.
The police arrived in a private vehicle, with some personnel not even in uniform. When CPI(M) MP @JohnBrittas and other comrades forcefully intervened and challenged them, they left without carrying out their illegal attempt. It is learnt that for the past several days, Aishe Ghosh has been continuously followed and surveilled, exposing a blatant campaign of intimidation against student leaders.
Such methods have no place in a democracy. The Modi government is using the police to criminalise dissent and silence those raising their voice against injustice instead of answering the legitimate concerns of students.
The CPI(M) strongly condemns this intimidation and reaffirms its solidarity with the student movement. We will resolutely resist every attempt to trample upon democratic rights.
Does the Congress really stand with the cause of the students' agitation? The Kerala government has indiscriminately filed criminal cases against those who protested in solidarity with the students' agitation at Jantar Mantar. What a hypocritical stand! Such double standards erode the credibility of democratic politics.
Nearly 5,000 people now face criminal cases in Kerala for exercising their democratic right to protest. Even after the Union Government agreed to withdraw the cases related to the movement, the UDF government in Kerala continues to pursue them.
@RahulGandhi, if your party's commitment to the students is genuine, direct the UDF government in Kerala to unconditionally withdraw these cases. Can democracy have one standard in Delhi and another in Kerala?

The BJP is now trying to defame the cockroaches by showing them at a party in a ‘five-star hotel.’ Can we ask how so many BJP ministers and their progeny afford designer clothes and Cartier glasses?
