@lwastuargo Semua perlu paham politik, tapi paham bukan berarti harus ikut main. Stakeholder management & office politics itu utamanya pekerjaan pembuat/penyedia/penanggung jawab visinya, bukan org yg dipekerjakan karena keahlian teknisnya atau kemampuan eksekusinya.
@farisrachman_1 "...realize the transformation from Made in China (中国制造) to Created in China (中国创造), the transformation of Chinese speed to Chinese quality, the transformation of Chinese products to Chinese brands, and complete the strategic task of growing Chinese manufacturing from..."
@rushicrypto If skill, talent, and hard work were rewarded the way you describe, would a brilliant neurosurgeon working alone out-earn a mediocre neurosurgeon who built a hospital chain employing a thousand neurosurgeons? That is not a flaw in capitalism, that’s the definition.
@GarettJones Indeed, a question often doesn't get asked not because it's hard, but because the answer is awkward. Which probably means the real work to move forward isn't finding difficult questions. It's finding easy ones & being willing to sit with uncomfortable answers, day after day.
@pinkbourbon8898 There's asymmetry inside the category too. Indonesia's listed coal & CPO names don't belong in one bucket on USD exposure. A handful of them, a minority worth watching right now, borrowed cheap in dollars when things were calm & are the ones now eating the FX hit on debt service.
@farisrachman_1 Path dependency.
Sinyal kesugihan jadi tontonan, bukan tantangan?
@pmarca I think particularly for the US, the friction is the feature. Convergent knowledge, like monocultures, has its own fragility. And at the scale of the US, different knowledge centers pulling in different directions is probably a good thing.
@BiLLYKHAERUDIN Ancaman eksistensial yg dihadapi beda. Mengingat geografi kepulauan & tingkat kemajemukannya, ancaman yg lebih konkret buat Indonesia skrg justru non-militer seperti ekonomi, proxy politik dalam negeri, & mungkin sengketa maritim. Doktrin Iran lahir dr konteks yg spesifik banget.
@KonstantinKisin “Net Zero destroys our economy.” Have you once measured that claim against the cumulative carbon some countries burned disproportionately to build their wealth relative to the rest? The correction feels painful because the privilege felt normal.
@llmDestructor@Playerinthgame Wang Chuanfu holds a chemistry PhD and had the unique vision to lead BYD’s battery technology development. Musk redesigned EV manufacturing economics in a way nobody else had managed. Neither of those is something market forces alone could have driven.
@finderrio@Playerinthgame There are legitimate debates around GMO and agricultural dependency. But in regions where crop failure means famine, feeding people is good.
