@DariusDale42@RaoulGMI fully get the MAD aspect of it. that's the first race dynamic which both nuclear and ai share. it's the compounding part of the race dynamic that ai has that nukes don't
regardless, we agree on the part we agree on so fair enough π€·ββοΈπ€
@RaoulGMI@DariusDale42 didn't see you emphasize the point in this particular convo that intelligence compounds. whereas you can't exactly plug nukes into nukes to make bigger nukes
but to a certain (and growing) extent, you can with ai. the nuclear analogy doesn't make sense to me
@TinkeredThinker@Totalsustain@bistromathmagic in other words, I agree with the content of what ur saying and also think it will land with precisely 0% of the audience it needs to land with
@TinkeredThinker@Totalsustain@bistromathmagic human sensation has a capped magnitude
therefore qualia is relativistic
the best water one could taste is while dying of thirst. I think this point is incredibly important but simply not understood well enough. the overstimulated mind will take it as an attack, not a cure.
@izebel_eth I mean it's not like stripe would have axed the product after shelling out a billy
I take ur point tho which is that betting on the competent incumbents (mag7) is way better r/r than taking a long shot on ur own thing
@frankdegods I 100% get where u are coming from btw. I am fatigued by what has been a lost cycle for shitters so far
my experience has been that the contrarian pill has obliterated myself and others far more often tho, over a very long time period. that's the only reason I'm pushing back
@frankdegods pve means capturing a secular trend. nvda and gpus have been consensus and paying out big for years (same with equities indices and the whole passive complex)
rly all ur saying is that crypto has had little to no (sustainable) secular trends to hit this cycle
@0xaporia very nice, thanks for the breakdown
I wonder if extreme followed by return to neutral would have less noisy forward returns since you'd be going with the flow at that point
@vydamo_ think it's a case of mixing up the capabilities with the app layer
app layer is finicky and requires a lot of stars to align before something actually hits. crypto has suffered from that too
also llms punch way above their weight imo. there was no intention for a use case
